JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Putra Presiden Joko Widodo, Gibran Rakabuming membantah bahwa tekad dirinya maju dalam Pilwakot Solo 2020 mendatang untuk membangun dinasti politik.
Kalau memang niatnya hanya ingin membangun dinasti politik, maka ia bisa saja minta jatah sebagai menteri kepada ayahnya.
“Mungkin orang bilang dinasti politik. Saya itu kan ikut kontestasi bisa dipilih bisa tidak, bisa kalah bisa menang. Ya itu, kalau dinasti politik mungkin saya minta jadi menteri atau apa saja,” kata Gibran dalam talkshow acara Banteng Muda Indonesia (BMI) di Hotel Balairung, Jl Matraman, Jakarta, Minggu (10/11/2019).
Gibran menolak permintaan agar menunggu jabatan Presiden Jokowi selesai pada tahun 2024 mendatang untuk terjun dalam dunia politik.
“Kelamaan. Ya momennya itu sekarang,” ucapnya.
Gibran menegaskan bahwa anak-anak muda punya tanggung jawab untuk mengubah pola pikir masyarakat bahwa politik adalah kotor.
“Kalau yang mengubah bukan anak muda, ya nggak mungkin bisa. Karena ini momennya anak muda untuk jadi penggerak, bukan jadi objek yang digerakkan,” kata Gibran.
Gibran sendiri kini sudah bergabung dengan PDIP dan berupaya untuk maju Pilwalkot Solo 2020. Menurutnya, PDIP bisa menampung anak-anak muda.
“Partai yang punya visi misi untuk menampung anak muda itu ya PDIP,” tegasnya.
