JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) akan menyerahkan sejumlah bukti tambahan dalam permohonan Kasasi ke Mahkamah Agung (MA), dalam kasus vonis bebas terhadap Eks Direktur Utama PLN, Sofyan Basir.
KPK meyakini bahwa Sofyan Basir terlibat dalam kasus suap proyek PLTU Riau-1, yang sebelumnya menjerat eks Anggota DPR Eni Maulani Saragih, mantan Mensos Idrus Marham dan pengusaha Johannes B Kotjo.
“Kami akan serahkan juga sebagai bukti tambahan seperti rekam sidang ya, karena di sana akan terlihat pada persidangan kapan itu keterangannya, seperti apa dan juga bukti-bukti lain akan kami Jelaskan lebih lanjut,” ujar juru bicara KPK Febri Diansyah, di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta Selatan, Senin (18/11/2019).
Menurut Febri, seandainya hakim mempertimbangkan sejumlah bukti-bukti yang disampaikan JPU KPK, maka Sofyan Basir tidak akan divonis bebas.
“Harapannya nanti Mahkamah Agung bisa mempertimbangkan secara lebih detail dan juga menggali kebenaran materiil dari perkara ini,” lanjutnya.
Pada 4 November 2019, Sofyan terlepas dari tuntutan hukuman lima tahun penjara dan denda Rp200 juta subsider tiga bulan kurungan. Sofyan juga lepas dari dari ancaman Pasal 12 huruf a juncto Pasal 15 Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 31 Tahun 1999 sebagaimana telah diubah dengan UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2001 tentang Pemberantasan Tipikor juncto Pasal 56 ke-2 KUHP.
JPU KPK menyebut Sofyan memfasilitasi pertemuan mantan Wakil Ketua Komisi VII DPR Eni Maulani Saragih, mantan Sekretaris Jenderal Partai Golkar Idrus Marham, dan pengusaha Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo untuk membahas proyek PLTU Riau-1. Pembahasan tersebut dinilai ada unsur tindak pidana korupsi.
