JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Menteri BUMN, Erick Thohir melarang BUMN untuk membagikan suvenir dalam pelaksanaan Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham (RUPS).
Larangan itu tertuang dalam Surat Edaran Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara SE-8/MBU/12/2019 tentang Larangan Memberikan Souvenir atau Sejenisnya.
Dalam surat yang ditetapkan tanggal 5 Desember 2019 itu disebutkan, maksud dan tujuan penerbitan Surat Edaran ini adalah untuk efisiensi dan perwujudan prinsip-prinsip tata kelola perusahaan yang baik (good corporate governance) pada Persero dan Perum.
“Dalam rangka efisiensi dan penerapan tata kelola perusahaan yang balk (good corporate governance), setiap penyelenggaraan Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham pada Persero dan Rapat Pembahasan Bersama pada Perum, dilarang untuk memberikan souvenir atau sejenisnya kepada siapapun,” bunyi surat tersebut seperti dikutip Sabtu (07/12/2019).
Erick Thohir juga meminta bahwa salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja adalah dengan melakukan efisiensi dan penghematan penggunaan biaya operasional perusahaan.
Termasuk dalam pemberian souvenir atau sejenisnya dalam penyelenggaraan Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham pada Persero atau Rapat Pembahasan Bersama pada Perum agar sejalan dengan prinsip efisiensi dan pengelolaan perusahaan yang baik
