PPATK Gandeng KPK-Kejaksaan Telusuri Kepala Daerah Simpan Uang Rp 50 M di Kasino

JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – PPATK saat ini sedang melacak kepala daerah yang diduga menaruh uang Rp50 miliar di kasino.

PPATK agar kepala daerah tidak main-main untuk menyembunyikan sesuatu yang merupakan hasil dari tindak kejahatan.

“Ini adalah awal sinyal, bahwa para pelaku kejahatan jangan mencoba-coba untuk menyimpan sesuatu, melarikan sesuatu yang (bersifat) kejahatan. Termasuk ke luar negeri di lembaga non-perbankan, lembaga institusi penyedia jasa keuangan,” tegas Kepala PPATK Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin, Sabtu (14/12/2019).

Namun ia enggan menyebutkan kepala daerah yang dianggap menyimpan uang dalam jumlah besar tersebut di luar negeri.

Ia mengaku saat ini PPATK sedang melakukan diskusi dengan lembaga penegak hukum seperti KPK, Polri dan Kejaksaan.

“Ya pasti (kerja sama) PPATK nggak bisa melakukan sendiri, PPATK harus melihat subjek siapa, objek yang dilakukan apa, kalau itu tipikor pasti kita akan sampaikan ke KPK, bisa juga ke polisi, bisa juga ke Kejaksaan kalau dalam hal ini korupsi.

“(Terkait kasus ini) informasi-informasi awal sudah kita diskusikan, tapi formalnya belum,” imbuhnya.

Sebelumnya, Kepala PPATK Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin dalam refleksi akhir tahun mengungkapkan jajarannya menemukan adanya dugaan kepala daerah melakukan transaksi keuangan di luar negeri yaitu di rekening kasino. Kiagus menyebut para kepala daerah itu melakukan transaksi uang dalam bentuk mata uang asing dengan nominal Rp 50 miliar.

“PPATK menelusuri transaksi keuangan beberapa kepala daerah yang diduga melakukan penempatan dana yang signifikan dalam bentuk valuta asing dengan nominal setara Rp 50 miliar ke rekening kasino di luar negeri,” ujar Kepala PPATK Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin dalam refleksi akhir tahun di kantornya, Jalan Ir Haji Juanda, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat (13/12/2019).
