BANDUNG – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Sejumlah warga binaan yang beragama Kristen di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Klas I Sukamiskin, Bandung, Jawa Barat bekerja sama dengan Gereja Eben Haezer, Gugus Darma Pramuka Wira Bakti dan Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kota Bandung melaksanakan kegiatan Bakti Sosial (Baksos) berupa donor darah dalam rangka perayaan Hari Natal 2019 di Aula Lapas Sukamiskin, Rabu, (18/12/2019).
Kepala Lapas Klas I Sukamiskin, Abdul Karim menyambut baik kegiatan donor darah yang diinisiasi sejumlah Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) tersebut.
Berdasarkan pantauan Beritaterkini.co.id, pendafaran yang dimulai sejak pukul 08.00 WIB sampai pukul 09.00 WIB tercatat sudah sekitar 150 orang yang melalukan pendaftaran terdiri dari warga binaan, pengunjung dan para petugas Lapas.
Selain itu, tampak ikut dalam kegiatan donor darah diantaranya mantan Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR), Setya Novanto; mantan Kepala Korp Lalu Lintas (Kakorlantas) Polri, Djoko Susilo.
Kemudian mantan Wali Kota Bandung, Dada Rosada dan eks petinggi Lippo Group, Billy Sindoro serta sejumlah warga binaan lainnya.
Ketua Panitia Bakti Sosial Donor Danah, Dibyo Pranowo mengatakan bahwa kegiatan yang dilaksanakan hari ini disambut antusias para warga binaan dan sejumlah pengunjung Lapas Sukamiskin, bahkan melampaui perkiraan dirinya.
Ia berharap, melalui kegiatan ini bisa menjaga stok darah di PMI Kota Bandung, dan didistribusikan atau diberikan kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
“Dari tadi pagi sudah antre. Karena banyak dari warga binaan yang dengan sukarela mau ikut dalam kegiatan tersebut. Ini bagian dari kepedulian warga binaan untuk membantu saudara-saudara kita yang sedang membutuhkan darah dan diberikan melalui PMI Kota Bandung,” kata dia ditemui disela-sela kegiatan.
Ia menegaskan bahwa semua pendaftar yang sudah dinyatakan lolos untuk menjadi pendonor darahnya akan tetap diambil, sekalipun waktu yang dibutuhkan tidak sebentar.
“Karena selama satu jam sejak dibuka, ada sekitar 150 orang pendaftar yang mau mendonorkan darahnya. Sehingga petugas PMI Kota Bandung akan tetap senantiasa melayani mereka semua,” tegas dia.
Selain itu, ada 13 orang dari PMI Kota Bandung yang ditugaskan untuk membantu kegiatan ini, mulai dari administrasi donor, adaministrasi pengambilan darah, pemeriksaan dan pengambilan darah. Mereka dipimpin oleh Kepala Bidang Pengadaan Darah PMI Kota Bandung, dr H Wahyu S.
Di tempat sama, Ketua Perayaan Natal Lapas Sukamiskin, Eddy Sindoro mengaku bahwa hal ini bagian dari komitmen warga binaan untuk menebarkan kebaikan bagi masyarakat Indonesia.
“Pada peringatan Natal tahun 2019, inilah yang bisa dilakukan warga binaan Lapas Sukamiskin untuk menebarkan kebaikan bagi sesama,” kata eks Presiden Komisaris Lippo Group tersebut.
Sampai berita ini ditulis, kegiatan donor darah masih berlangsung. Para warga binaan satu persatu diambil darahnya berdasarkan nomor antrean masing-masing.
