Gianyar, beritabaliterkini.co.id – Guna mendukung program Gubernur Bali dalam memerangi sampah plastik, perayaan Pujawali di Pura Santi, Tibekauh, Payangan, Gianyar dipastikan tidak ada pemakaian kantong plastik. Hal tersebut dilakukan, sebagai bentuk kepedulian lingkungan, pasalnya pura sebagai tempat ibadah harus bersih dari sampah plastik serta juga untuk memberikan kenyamanan para penangkil dalam melakukan ibadahnya.

Hal tersebut diungkapkan oleh Bandesa Gede Pura Santi, I Wayan Suwita perayaan pujawali tanpa sampah plastik sesuai dengan Pergub Bali No 97 Tahun 2018 yang melarang menggunakan plastik, sehingga pihaknya berharap kepada para penangkil yang ingin nunas tirta di pura maupun membawa canang tidak menggunakan media plastik.

“Dalam pujawali sekarang Saniscara Kliwon, Landep (21/12/2019) nampak beda, kami dari pihak pura berharap kepada penangkil untuk tidak menggunakan sampah plastik sebagai bentuk mendukung program Gubernur Bali dalam memerangngi sampah palstik,” ucapnya.

Hal yang sama juga dikatakan oleh Ketua Pura Santi, I Wayan Tagel Arjana dimana progam ini juga merupakan sebagai bagian edukasi kepada para penangkil dan warga sekitar, akan bahaya dari sampah plastik. Ia melanjutkan sampah merupakan momok menakutkan bagi semua orang, bukan hanya berdampak pada industri pariwisata saja.

“Jika sampah tidak ditangani dengan baik dan benar, akan mencemari lingkungan sehingga berdampak pada masyarakat dan kehidupan mendatang, jadi program ini merupakan juga bagian dari ajaran Tri Hita Karana di Bali,” tandasnya. tra.
