JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Politikus Partai Gerindra, Nizar Zahro meninggal dunia sore tadi di Surabaya, Jawa Timur.
“(Meninggal) tadi jam 17.00 WIB. Saat tidur. Nggak sakit,” kata Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Gerindra, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad kepada wartawan, Minggu (19/1/2020).
Rencananya jenazah almarhum akan dikebumikan di kampung halamannya di Bangkalan, Jawa Timur.
“Akan dimakamkan besok pagi di Desa Kuanyar, Bangkalan, Jawa Timur. Waktu masih dimusyawarahkan. Yang jelas besok pagi,” kata Wasekjen Partai Gerindra, Andre Rosiade.
Andre pun mengaku kaget atas kematian Nizar. Sebab, kata dia, pada Sabtu (18/01/2020) malam, Nizar masih sempat bertemu dengan Sandiaga Uno.
“Padahal tadi malam masih baik-baik saja ketemu Bang Sandi di Surabaya. Ketemunya di Surabaya. Tadi malam masih sehat. Gerindra berduka atas meninggalnya pejuang politik. Dia terakhir menjabat Komisi X DPR RI periode lalu,” pungkas dia.
