“Sampai sekarang yang mencalonkan diri baru satu, Pak Arinal. Mudah-mudahan sampai akhir tetap satu. Sebab seluruh kader punya keinginan sama. Inginnya Pak Arinal tetap menjadi ketua kami,” kata Made.
Walau begitu, jika ada kader internal Golkar yang memenuhi persyaratan dan punya keinginan untuk mendaftar
silahkan. Golkar ini kan Partai yang demokratis,” ucap Anggota DPRD Lampung itu.
Menanggapi keinginan para kader, Arinal Djunaidi menyatakan Partai Golkar tidak ada intruksi khusus. Apalagi yang sifatnya fungsional untuk mendukungnya kembali menjadi ketua.
“Jadi semua kader boleh berpartisipasi pada musda. Sebab saya ingin membuat demokrasi di Golkar tetap ada,” jelasnya.
Karena itu, semua kader Golkar yang memenuhi syarat boleh ikut mencalonkan diri di Musda tersebut. “Tapi kalau memang nanti tanggal 1 Maret tidak ada kandidat lain. Maka beliau (Arinal-red) tetap sebagai ketua,” tutupnya. /BRT.
