Dalam sambutannya di setiap titik lokasi, DR. H. Andi Surya menyebutkan kegiatan Baksos ini merupakan rangkaian rencana 100 titik lokasi layanan kesehatan yang bekerjasama dengan Fakultas Kesehatan Universitas Mitra Indonesia (UMITRA) , “Hari ini adalah hari pertama kegiatan, Kami membawa dosen dan perawat profesional senior dari Kampus UMITRA dengan pemeriksaan gula darah, asam urat, Tensi dan berat badan, sekaligus tugas mereka memberi masukan kepada warga untuk menjaga pola hidup sehat, semoga kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk warga metro”, Ujar Andi Surya.
Agus Setiyo, Tim Pemenangan AS di lokasi baksos, menyebutkan, hari perdana kegiatan Baksos ini ada pada enam titik lokasi, pertama di rumah Pak Eka Kelurahan Iring Mulyo, dilanjutkan di Kampung Banten kediaman Hermansyah, selanjutnya berturut-turut di Tejo Agung RT/RW 17/14, masih di Tejo Agung RT/RW 35/08, Tejosari RT/RW 08/02, dan terakhir di RT/RW 03/01, sebut Agus.
“Kedatangan DR. H. Andi Surya beserta istri beliau sekaligus Rektor UMITRA DR. Hj. Armalia Reny disambut hangat dan di setiap titik beliau memberi sambutan sekaligus membuka acara Baksos”, Sebut Agus.
Sementara itu, Haji Anies, Tim Pemenangan AS lainnya, menyatakan, kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi warga Metro karena menyangkut informasi kesehatan Terkini, “acara Baksos Kesehatan Gratis ini lebih banyak dihadiri oleh ibu dan bapak yang relatif sudah usia dewasa paruh baya karena di umur itulah lagi rawannya kesehatan”, ujarnya.
Sementara, DR. Hj. Armalia Reny, selaku Rektor UMITRA yang turut serta dalam kegiatan tersebut menyampaikan terimakasih kepada panitia dan seluruh warga yang hadir, “Baksos ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat, Kampus UMITRA, direncanakan mencapai target 100 titik lokasi Baksos di Metro dan menjangkau lebih banyak lagi warga yang memerlukan layanan kesehatan Gratis”, ujarnya menutup pembicaraan. /BRT
