JAKARTA, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) menyampaikan layanan aplikasi pengirim pesan Whatsapp untuk pembebasan dan pengurangan tarif listrik dapat digunakan masyarakat mulai 6 April, kata Wakil Direktur Utama Darmawan Prasodjo di Jakarta, Jumat (3/4).
“Kami mendapat laporan Whatsapp kami bermasalah, tetapi bukan dari pihak PLN, tetapi dari Whatsapp-nya. Mereka akan meng-_upgrade_ karena _traffic_-nya tinggi. Nomor itu akan bisa berjalan mulai hari Senin, tetapi saat ini masih tahap perbaikan,” kata Darmawan dalam jumpa pers di Graha BNPB, sebagaimana ditayangkan lewat siaran langsung via Internet _(streaming)_
Oleh karena itu, Darmawan menganjurkan masyarakat untuk mengakses laman resmi PLN, http://www.pln.co.id untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai pembebasan tagihan listrik atau pengurangan tarif sampai 50 persen.
“Kami persilakan masuk ke website dan pilih menu pelanggan. Di sana, ada sub-menu ‘stimulus COVID-19’ seperti arahan Bapak Presiden (Joko Widodo, red). Silakan masukkan ID pelanggan atau nomor meternya dan masuk ke token token listrik gratis. Saat token gratis berhasil didapatkan, dipersilakan memasukkan angka tersebut ke KWh meter agar dapat diskonnya sesuai arahan pemerintah,” terang Darmawan.
Sementara itu, jika layanan Whatsapp sudah tersedia pada 6 April, masyarakat dapat mengirim pesan ke nomor 08122123123. “Ketik (pesan) apa saja, nanti dapat balasan. Masukkan ID pelanggan, nanti akan ada token listrik gratis yang kemudian bisa dimasukkan ke KWh meter,” terang dia.
Perlu diketahui, tidak semua pelanggan berhak mendapat bantuan. Pasalnya, hanya ada dua kelompok yang menerima insentif, yaitu pelanggan listrik berkapasitas 450 Volt Ampere (VA) dan 900 VA bersubsidi.
Artinya, pelanggan listrik 900 VA yang memiliki kode ‘M’ pada nomor struk tagihan tidak mendapatkan bantuan pengurangan listrik sebesar 50 persen.
“Kalau pelanggan melihat struknya saat beli token, ada kode-nya R1M, M artinya mampu. Berarti walaupun 900 VA, mohon maaf mereka ini non-subsidi atau mampu sehingga tidak _eligible_ (berhak, red) mendapatkan diskon sampai saat ini,” terang Darmawan.
Presiden Joko Widodo lewat jumpa pers pada akhir bulan lalu memutuskan membebaskan tagihan pelanggan listrik berkapasitas 450 VA dan mengurangi tarif sebesar 50 persen pelanggan dengan daya 900 VA bersubsidi.
Bantuan yang diberikan pada April, Mei, dan Juni 2020 itu bertujuan mengurangi beban masyarakat terdampak pandemi COVID-19.
Menurut catatan PLN, ada 24 juta pelanggan listrik 450 VA yang akan menerima pembebasan tagihan listrik, sementara tujuh juta pelanggan dengan daya 900 VA bersubsidi akan mendapatkan diskon 50 persen selama tiga bulan. /Beritaterkini
