JAKARTA, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Saya sangat terperanjat, ketika akhir-akhir ini, WAG Ikatsatu, yakni WA-nya, Kumpulan Alumni ITB angkatan 71, dimana saya adalah alumni TI-ITB-71, heboh lagi masalah singkatan kampus dimana saya bekerja, yaitu ITB Ahmad Dahlan, kependekan dari Instutut Teknologi dan Bisnis Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta. Padahal dimasa mendatang akan ada ITB-Ganesha (D/h STIE Ganesha), saya mendengar kabar sedang dalam proses izin pendiriannya.

Oleh sebab itu, saya menduga tidak akan ada masalah, dengan singakatan ITB Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta. Karena nanti, akan ada institut teknologi dan bisnis yang lain. Mengapa tiba tiba isyu ini muncul. Dugaan saya, karena Rektor ITB Ahmad Dahlan, Dr, Mukhaer Pakkanna, SE.MM, menulis dimana-mana dan dalam berbagai kesempatan, karena menulisnya pada media social yg resmi, maka berkembanglah atau menjadi sorotan singkatan ITB Ahmad Dahlan itu.

Ada pertanyaan dalam WAG Ikatsatu ini, “Kenapa bukan Mang Engkoes yang menjawab kehebohan ini”. Saya nyatakan disini, saya akan menjelaskan kronologis saja sampai ada nama ITB Ahmad Dahlan, sebatas pengetahuan dan jabatan saya di ITB Ahmad Dahlan. Saya Koesmawan, saat ini menjabat Ketua Senat Akademi ITB Ahmad Dahlan, seperti kita ketahui, jabatan senat di kami bersifat normative, tidak boleh menjelaskan apa apa secara resmi keluar. Dengan demikian. Saya menulis ini dengan kapasitas sebagai ‘ “ Sahabat Sesama Alumni ITB Bandung Angkatan 1971”.

Anggota Senat ITB Ahmad Dahlan itu ada Rektor, Warek, Kepala Lembaga, Dekan dan Perwakilan dosen total 17 orang. Mungkin saja, bila ada surat keberatan dari ITB misalnya, pasti Rektor ITB Ahmad Dahlan akan secara resmi menjelaskannya, lalu juga PP Muhammadiyah yang meresmikan berdirinya ITB Ahmad Dahlan, SK Pedirian diberikan oleh Presiden Jokowi, tgl 19 November 2019.

ITB Ahmad Dahlan, adalah perubahan bentuk dari ABM (Akademi Bank Muhammadiyah)- tahun 1968, lalu menjadi AKPM (Akademi Keuangan dan Perbankan Muhammadiyah)-1985, berubah lagi menjadi STIE Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta-1998. Mang Engkoes, masuk ABM 1978 Jadi Pudir2 dan Sekrt Dir, Di AKPM Jadi Ka Unit Lak-Akademik (Wadir-1), lalu di STIEAD jadi KETUA STIEAD 1999-2003. Awalnya, hanya Jurusan Manajemen Perbankan D-3. Lalu berkembang menjadi ada Jurusan Akuntansi. Sewaktu bernama STIE Ahmad Dahlan, ada 5 prodi (jurusan). S-2 Mankeu Syariah, Jur Manajemen S1-D3, Jur Akntansi S1-D3. Umur mang Engkoes sudah 68 tahun. Insya Allah dua tahun lagi Pensiun.

Mengapa muncul nama ITB Ahmad Dahlan. Awalnya, zaman kepemimpinan saya, teringat saya, seorang dosen Alm Darwin Erhandy SE. MM, bertemu saya dan berpikir akan “ kita jangan mengelola jurusan ekonomi saja, coba kembangkan ke computer, baca IT).

Saya hanya senyum saja tak ada langkah-langkah sama sekali kearah perubahan bentuk. Lalu zaman setelah saya, mulailah upaya kecil-kecilan, menuju IBM (Institut Bisnis Muhammadiyah). Misal di kop surat, di kaos dan lain lain ada kalimat, “ (Menuju Institut Bisnis Muhammadiyah).

Nah, sejak era kepemimpinan pasca mang Engkoes, mulai dari Azrul Tandjung, SE. M.Si, Prof Dr Fathurahaman, MA, dan akhirnya upaya keras Dr. Mukhaer Pakkanna, SE,MM, dan kawan kawan mulailah sejak tahun 2019, meririntis dan memperjuangkan perubahan bentuk dari STIE Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta menjadi I.B.M. (Institut Bisnis Muhammadiyah).
Sejak Dr. Mukhaer dan kawan-kawan berjuang mendapatkan izin IBM itu Panjang sekali, bagaimana beliau dan kawan kawan.

Kalaulah saya tarik garis sejak beliau Ketua STIEAD, itu berarti IBM diperjuangkan sejak tahun 2009. Jangan tanya betapa itu surat bolak ke Kopertis, Kedikti dan ke Kemnetrian, yang kelak akan masuk SEKAB Karena akan diresmikan oleh Presiden Jokowi. Persoalan yang menjadi heboh ialah, “ Mengapa menjadi nama ITB Ahmad Dahlan”, bukankah impian kita sejak dulu adalah IBM.

Ini duduk persoalannya. Dirjend Dikti, hanya akan memberi izin, apakah pendirian Kampus baru, atau perubahan bentuk, maka hanya prodi yang masuk rumus STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering dan Mathematics), yang diizinkan.

Oleh sebab itu, IBM yang hanya punya Ekonomi, Akuntansi dan Keuangan Syariah. Tidak mendapat izin. Maka, Dr Mukhaer Pakkanna, SE.MM, menambahkan prodi yang bersifat Teknologi, yaitu Arsitektur, DKV, Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Informasi. Sehingga nama yang diusulkan menjadi ITBM (Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Muhammadiyah).

Tapi pertimbangan Dikti, nama semula jangan diganti. Misal YAI, menjadi Unversitas YAI. ASMI Menjadi Universitas ASMI. Maka STIE Ahmad Dahlan yang menjadi instritut teknologi dan bisnis, harus menjadi Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Ahmad Dahlan, disingkat ITB Ahmad Dahlan. Terdiri atas dua Fakultas, Fakultas Ekonomi Digital dan Fakultas Teknopreuneur.
Demikianlah kawan-kawan yang bisa saya jelaskan secara informal.

Tidak menutup kemungkinan, bila ada keberatan dari ITB secara tertulis misalnya, pasti akan direspon oleh pimpinan saya. Saya terus terang tidak pernah ikut hadir dan apalagi menyusun proposal IBM (baca: ITB Ahmad Dahlan), kecuali ada undangan dari Koperetis (LLDIKTI Wil-3), untuk sekedar mendampingi pimpinan. Semua dikerjakan oleh para junior pelanjut saya yang kini hampir doktor semua. Saya berharap, penjelasan saya, bisa memuaskan. Mohon maaf bila kata-katanya kurang berkenan. Saya hargai perhatian saudara terhadap masalah ini. Semoga menjadi kebaikkan bagi kita semua. /Red-beritaterkini
