Perizinan yang berbelit, tumpang tindih kewenangan, dan prosedur perubahan undang-undang (UU) serta aturan turunan yang tidak sederhana menjadi hambatan dalam memacu pertumbuhan investasi.

Kerugian dari regulasi dan peraturan yang sulit telah menjadikan lambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Omnibus Law Cipta kerja diyakini bisa menjadi cara tepat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.

Tetapi kurangnya pemahaman dari buruh yang didasari tanpa fakta membuat Omnibus law ini menuai protes yang berlebihan.

Para penolak kerap menyuarakan protesnya berdasarkan sudut pandang mereka sendiri yang didominasi oleh perspektif jangka pendek untuk mengoptimalkan kepentingan para buruh yang saat ini sudah bekerja.

Padahal, Omnibus Law Ciptaker didesain tidak hanya untuk para buruh yang sudah bekerja, tetapi juga untuk 7 juta pengangguran di negeri ini yang belum terserap lapangan kerja, serta untuk angkatan kerja baru yang bertambah sebanyak 2 juta setiap tahunnya.

Perlu diingat, dengan perijinan yang berbelit, tidak akan ada lagi investor yang membuka lapangan kerja baru di Indonesia.

Dengan begitu, angka pengangguran yang tinggi akan terus bertambah karena semakin sempitnya lapangan pekerjaan baru.

Pembahasan Omnibus Law ini tentu bukan pekerjaan semalam jadi.

Pemerintah tentu sudah mempertimbangkan secara matang dan melibatkan seluruh elemen untuk menyaring masukan-masukan dari semua pihak

Jadi, kelompok buruh yang masih menolak Omnibus Law Cipta kerja sebenarnya lebih dipengaruhi oleh ego jangka pendek mereka, yang hanya berkonsentrasi pada kepentingan buruh hari ini, tetapi kurang peka terhadap kebutuhan pekerja Indonesia di masa depan.

Lebih jauh lagi, mereka tidak menginginkan meningkatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi negara ini. (Red/Aj)
