Acara tirakatan dengan menyelenggarakan Doa bersama, dalam rangka menyambut peringatan HUT ke-75 Kemerdekaan RI Tahun 2020, kembali digelar Pangkalan Utama TNI Angkatan Laut (Lantamal) V yang dihelat di Masjid At Taqwa Lantamal V Jl. Laksda M. Nazir No. 56 Surabaya, Minggu Malam (16/8).

Doa bersama ini diselenggarakan tepat pukul 23.45 WIB menjelang pergantian hari, suasana doa pun terlaksana dengan khusyuk dan khidmat.

Segenap prajurit dan PNS Lantamal V melaksanakan doa bersama yang diawali sholat Sunnah Taubat, dilanjutkan Doa Yaasiin, Doa Tahlil, dan ditutup dengan doa yang di pimpin Ustad Kapten Laut (P) Baedlowi, S.Pd., pelaksanaan Doa bersama tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan penanganan dan pencegahan Covid-19.

Doa bersama tersebut ditujukan khusus untuk para pahlawan dan pejuang bangsa, para prajurit dan keluarganya agar senantiasa diberikan kesehatan dan keselamatan dalam melaksanakan tugas, dan harapannya Pandemi Covid19 yang sedang mewabah segera sirna di muka bumi ini ungkap Wadan Lantamal V.

Acara Doa bersama tersebut selain diikuti segenap Prajurit dan PNS juga dihadiri oleh Wadan Lantamal V Kolonel Marinir Jasiman Purba, S.E., para Asisten dan Kasatker Lantamal V.
