Wakil Gubernur Akademi Angkatan Laut (Wagub AAL) Brigjen TNI (Mar) Endi Supardi, S.E. mewakili Gubernur AAL Laksamana Muda TNI Edi Sucipto, S.E., M.M. menghadiri upacara pemberangkatan Satuan Tugas Pengamanan Daerah Rawan (Satgas Pamrahwan) Papua TA.2020 Yonif Raider 500/Sikatan yang dilangsungkan di dermaga Madura, Koarmada II, Ujung, Surabaya, Selasa (18/8).
Upacara yang dipimpin Komandan Kogartap III/Surabaya Mayor Jenderal TNI Widodo Iryansah, S.Sos., M.M. selaku Inspektur Upacara ini, diikuti 400 prajurit Yonif Raider 500/Sikatan Kodam V/Brawijaya yang tergabung dalam Satgas Pamrahwan Papua. Tampak hadir para Pangkotama TNI Wilayah Surabaya, Kaskogartap III/Surabaya, Para Komanan Satuan serta tamu undangan lainnya.
Menurut Komandan Kogartap III/Surabaya, salah satu kebanggaan dan kesempurnaan sebagai seorang prajurit adalah melaksanakan penugasan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada bangsa dan negara.
Penugasan ini lanjutnya, adalah tugas mulia dan tidaklah ringan, akan tetapi tugas ini akan berhasil apabila dilaksanakan dengan tulus ikhlas dan penuh rasa tanggungjawab. “Ingat kalian adalah pasukan Brawijaya, prajurit yang terpilih dan terlatih, prajurit yang handal dan memiliki standar tinggi,” terangnya.
Pemberangkatan Satgas ini tambah Dangartab lll, terkait dengan perkembangan situasi dan kondisi di Papua yang saat ini mengalami peningkatan dengan adanya aksi unjuk rasa yang menolak otonomi khusus dan menuntut diadakannya referendum ditanah Papua.
Hal tersebut lanjutnya, disinyalir mengarah pada tujuan utama untuk memisahkan diri dan bukan lagi menjadi bagian dari NKRI. “Hal ini harus kita sikapi dengan tegas berdasarkan rambu-rambu undang- undang yang berlaku,” terangnya.
Komandan Kogartap III/Surabaya menambahkan bahwa dalam penugasan pasti para prajurit akan menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, ia mengingatkan guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, gunakan cara yang terbaik dan efektif dengan berlandaskan Sumpah Prajurit, Delapan Wajib TNI dan aturan Perundang-undangan yang berlaku serta ketegasan Dansatgas dengan didukung oleh disiplin, loyalitas dan soliditas seluruh prajurit.
“Kembangkan early warning system dilingkungan tugas kalian serta laksanakan analisis terhadap setiap perkembangan situasi, tetap fokus pada tujuan dan sasaran penugasan dengan mengedepankan kewaspadaan dan kesiapsiagaan serta menjalin koordinasi yang baik dengan seluruh instansi terkait,” pesan Dangartap III/Surabaya kepada prajurit Satgas Pamrahwan Papua Yonif Raider 500 / Sikatan.
