Peresmian Rumah Oma Katrina Tahendung (71) di Kombos Timur, Singkil, Manado bersama TRC PPA Sulut, Rabu (26/8/2020).
Tim Reaksi Cepat Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak Sulawesi Utara (TRC PPA Sulut) akhirnya meresmikan rumah baru Katrina Tahendung di Kombos Timur, Singkil, Manado, Rabu (26/8/2020).
Sebelumnya, lansia 71 tahun yang akrab disapa Oma Katrina ini tinggal di gubuk yang terletak di perkebunan milik keponakannya di daerah yang sama.
Namun karena kondisi gubuk yang sudah reyot dan tidak memungkinkan untuk ditinggali, Tim TRC PPA pun bergerak membangun rumah untuk Oma Katrina.
“Ini memang bukan tupoksi kami karena kami bergerak di bidang penegakan hukum. Namun karena demi kemanusiaan dan kami adalah aktivis perempuan dan anak, maka kami mau membantu Oma dalam bentuk rumah semi permanen ini,” ujar Koordinator Wilayah (Korwil) TRC PPA Sulut, Irma Angkouw.
