Meningkatnya jumlah masyarakat yang tertular Covid-19 di Indonesia pada beberapa hari terakhir ini, mendorong Komando Pembinaan Doktrin, Pendidikan dan Latihan TNI AL (Kodiklatal) untuk terus mengintensifkan kegiatan pencegahan penularan virus corona terhadap prajurit, PNS dan siswa serta terhadap masyarakat di lingkungan sekitar Mako Kodiklatal.
Selain melaksanakan protocol kesehatan secara ketat dan penyemprotan disinfektan terhadap fasilitas pendidikan, Kodiklatal juga melaksanakan edukasi terhadap masyarakat yang berada di sekitar lingkungan Mako Kodiklatal.
Melalui Satgas Penanggulangan Covid19, yang terdiri dari prajurit Denpomal Kodiklatal bersama personel Satpam Denma Kodiklatal melaksanakan edukasi terhadap masyarakat Morokrembangan yang melaksanakan olah raga di area jogging track Bozem Morokrembangan.
“Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap sore dan pagi hari, saat masyarakat sekitar Mako Kodiklatal banyak yang berolah raga atau sekedar berjalan kaki di jogging track bozem,” ujar Dandenpomal Kodiklatal Letkol Laut (PM) Hendrawan.
Dandenpomal sangat mengapresiasi masyarakat untuk berolahraga dalam rangka menjaga kesehatannya, namun kami berharap agar mereka tetap mematuhi protocol kesehatan yang sudah ditetapkan pemerintah dalam mencegah penularan virus corona di wilayah Surabaya.
Namun demikian, lanjutnya, sampai saat ini masih saja kedapatan masyarakat yang tidak memperhatikan protocol kesehatan, seperti tidak menggunakan masker dan tidak menjaga jarak diantara mereka. “Kami juga tidak bosan-bosannya meminta agar mereka menggunakan masker secara benar, yaitu masker harus menutupi hidung dan mulut,” ujarnya
