BANDAR LAMPUNG, WWW. BERITATERKINI.co.id – Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah (DPW) Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM) Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Dan Pemuda Untuk Demokrasi (KAMPUD) Provinsi Lampung meminta pihak kepolisian segera menindak tegas aksi brutal dan arogansi terhadap Ardy Yohaba seorang Jurnalis stasiun televisi swasta nasional (Indosiar).
Disinyalir terjadi pemukulan dan perampasan camera serta dihalang-halanginya tugas jurnalis yang sedang melakukan tugas liputan pada acara pertandingan sepak bola piala Bupati Cup Lampung Utara 2020 yang berlangsung di stadion Sukung Kelapa Tujuh, Kecamatan Kotabumi Selatan, Kabupaten Lampung Utara, Jum’at (27/8/2020).
Insiden yang terjadi yaitu adanya dugaan Pemukulan dan perampasan yang dilakukan oknum dari ketua panitia penyelenggara Bupati Cup tersebut kepada wartawan, saat akan mewawancarai pihak panitia, penanggungjawab pertandingan, menyangkut terjadinya kericuhan mengenai skor pada pertandingan saat acara berlangsung.
Selain itu peristiwa yang sama juga terjadi kepada wartawan yang sedang melakukan tugas jurnalisnya di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang, dimana tiga jurnalis media mendapat perlakuan yang serupa pada saat meliput masalah bantuan sosial yang ada di rumah sakit Tulang Bawang.
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Slamet Riyadi, S.Sos sebagai juru bicara DPW LSM KAMPUD Provinsi Lampung meminta pihak kepolisian selaku penegak hukum memproses peristiwa yang mengarah kepada pelanggaran unsur pidana tersebut.
“Pihak kepolisian harus segera mengambil langkah cepat atas upaya anarkis oknum-oknum yang menghalangi kerja pers tersebut, karena tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku”, ungkap Slamet, Minggu (30/8/2020).
Lebih lanjut Mamet sapaan akrabnya menambahkan agar organisasi media turut mendampingi dan mengawal jalannya proses hukum yang berlangsung terhadap masalah tersebut.
“Sesuai UU pers tahun 1999, intimidasi tugas jurnalis di Lampung Utara dan Tulang Bawang tersebut sudah sepatutnya diberikan sanksi pidana, karena telah menghalangi tugas wartawan, maka organisasi media yang ada dapat turut mendampingi dan memantau jalannya perkara tersebut di kepolisian wilayah hukumnya”, kata Mamet.
