“Jejanan atau kudapan lokal seperti Serabi ini memang kesannya jadul dan tidak modern. Tapi ada nilai-nilai filosofis yang tinggi, sehingga Selly-Manan tak bosan-bosan mengangkat potensi kuliner lokal seperti ini,” kata Calon Walikota Mataram, Hj Putu Selly Andayani.
Pasangan Calon Walikota dan Calon Wakil Walikota Mataram, Hj Putu Selly Andayani dan TGH Abdul Manan, Minggu pagi (30/8) menyempatkan diri menikmati jajan Serabi di kawasan Lingkar Selatan Pagutan, Kota Mataram.
Usai joging dan jalan pagi ringan bersama, Selly-Manan juga mengajak masyarakat yang tengah berolahraga pagi untuk menikmati serabi bareng bersama Selly-Manan.
Tampak hadir dalam acara makan bareng serabi Selly Manan beberapa anggota DPRD NTB dan Kota Mataram dari PDI Perjuangan yakni Budi Suryata, Ruslan Turmuzi, Nyanyu Ernawati, Tim Pemenangan Selly Manan dan sekitar 50 an warga sekitar yang antusias menyambut makan serabi gratis ala *Jilbab Ijo* ini.
Serabi memang cocok dinikmati pagi hari. Kudapan dari tepung beras dibaluri parutan kelapa dan gula aren ini bernilai gizi dan kalori yang tinggi. Sangat cocok disantap usai berolahraga untuk memulihkan stamina tubuh.
Selly Andayani mengakui, kuliner dan kudapan lokal seperti ini kerap kali menemani sarapan bersama suami tercinta *H Rachmat Hidayat*.
“Ya saya sendiri pun langganan jajan lokal seperti serabi ini,” imbuhnya.
Ada nilai sosial yang tinggi dari kudapan lokal Serabi. Salah satunya bisa menambah keakraban baik di keluarga maupun di tananan sosial kemasyarakatan. Apalagi, saat ini masyarakat sudah cenderung meninggalkan interkasi sosial lantaran dampak buruk gadget digital.
Bukan hal yang baru saat ini, jika orangtua dan anak-anak masing-masing sibuk dengan gadgetnya sendiri-sendiri, meski pun berdekatan dalam satu rumah.
“Nah dengan jajanan serabi atau semacamnya, kemudian nikmati kopi atau teh, keluarga bisa berkumpul. Ngobrol bersama, dan _*tidak sibuk dengan hape atau gadget masing-masing*_. Ini pesan sederhananya,” katanya.
Menurut Selly, dengan mengajak masyarakat berolahraga dan menikmati serabi bareng, Selly-Manan juga sekaligus mempromosikan potensi kuliner lokal ini.
Mantan Kepala Dinas Perdagangan Provinsi NTB ini mengungkapkan, di Kota Mataram dan NTB secara umum ada banyak sekali jajanan dan kudapan lokal yang punya potensi untuk diangkat dan mampu dipasarkan lebih luas.
Hanya saja, perlu ditingkatkan pola produksi dan kemasannya, sehingga menarik dan kekinian.
“Selly-Manan ke depan akan melirik sektor ini. Bagaimana memberi pembinaan dan pendampingan untuk pelaku UMKM di sektor jajanan dan kuliner lokal. Konsep kita kembangkan ekonomi kerakyatan,” katanya.
Sementara itu, TGH Abdul Manan mengatakan, meski digempur dan harus bersaing dengan produk jajanan pabrikan di gerai modern namun jajanan dan kudapan lokal seperti serabi tak pernah kehilangan pasar.
Bahkan, bisa dikemas dengan lebih baik, jajanan tradisional bisa bersaing dengan makanan pabrikan.
“Seperti Serabi Pagutan ini, kan sudah sangat terkenal dan punya pangsa langganan sendiri. Artinya, jajanan lokal tradisional pun bisa bersaing di masa ke depan,” katanya.
Kegiatan makan serabi bareng Selly-Manan di kawasan Pagutan, Kota Mataram cukup antusias diikuti puluhan masyarakat yang sedang berolahraga atau pun jalan-jalan pagi mengisi hari Minggu di sekitar kawasan.
