Jalasenastri Cabang 6 Korcab V DJA II peringati HUT ke-74 Jalasenastri Tahun 2020 di gedung Wisma Bahari Mako Lanal Banyuwangi, Senin (31/8/2020).
Ditandai dengan memotong tumpeng sebagai wujud rasa syukur kepada Allah SWT dan pembagian hadiah pemenang lomba, peringatan tersebut dilaksanakan secara sederhana dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan.
Saat membacakan amanat ketua umum Jalasenastri Ny. Vero Yudo Margono, Ny. Vica Joko Setiyono selaku ketua cabang 6 mengatakan, tujuh puluh empat tahun bukanlah waktu yang pendek dan merupakan perjalanan panjang pengabdian Jalasenastri sebagai oraganisasi istri prajurit TNI AL yang telah turut berkiprah dan berperan aktif dalam upaya membangun bangsa dengan cara turut serta mendukung terlaksananya program pemerintah.
“Sesuai tema, “Jalasenastri Ikut Berperan Mewujudkan Keluarga Tangguh Dan Sehat Menuju Indonesia Maju”, diharapkan Jalasenastri akan semakin berperan aktif dalam membantu mencegah penyebaran Covid-19 dengan selalu menerapkan protokol kesehatan dimulai dari diri sendiri, keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakat sekitar,” terangnya.
Sementara itu selaku pembina Jalasenastri cabang 6, Komandan Pangkalan TNI Angkatan Laut (Danlanal) Banyuwangi, Lantamal V, Koarmada II Letkol Laut (P) Joko Setiyono, S.E., M.Tr.Hanla, dalam sambutannya saat membacakan amanat KASAL mengatakan, walaupun perayaan ulang tahun Jalasenastri kali ini dirayakan dalam situasi berbeda karena pandemi Covid-19, justru dalam situasi seperti itu kreativitas seorang istri sangat dibutuhkan.
“Seorang istri harus mampu berkreasi dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan serta pemenuhan gizi keluarga,” jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut jelas Danlanal, “Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengajarkan dan menunjukkan kita semua bahwa membangun bangsa yang besar membutuhkan sentuhan tangan dan kasih sayang seorang wanita di dalam sebuah keluarga,” paparnya.
