Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (KSAD) Jenderal TNI Andika Perkasa didampingi Pangkostrad Letjen TNI Eko Margiyono, M.A, dan Pangdivif 2 Kostrad Mayjen TNI Tri Yuniarto, S.A.P., M.Si., M.Tr (Han), meninjau kesiapan Latihan Bersama (Latma) Rotation Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Rotation 21-01 bertempat di Yonif Para Raider 502 Kostrad, Jabung, Malang. Sabtu (5/9).
Latma Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Rotation 21-01 merupakan Latihan Bersama yang pertama kalinya diadakan diantara 2 negara serta merupakan wujud kerjasama internasional yang bertujuan untuk menjalin dan meningkatkan hubungan kerjasama di bidang militer antara TNI-AD dengan US Army.
Dalam hal ini, KSAD Jenderal TNI Andika Perkasa berkesempatan memberikan arahan kepada 155 orang prajurit yang tergabung dalam Latma Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Rotation 21-01. Pelaksanaan JRTC sendiri akan berlangsung dari tanggal 19 September sampai dengan 3 November 2020 di Fort Polk-Louisiana, Amerika Serikat.
Dalam arahannya KSAD mengungkapkan, kerja sama melalui latihan bersama ini memiliki nilai yang sangat penting dimana memungkinkan Angkatan Darat kedua negara dapat mengambil manfaat yang sebesar-besarnya dalam perkembangan dunia kemiliteran bagi masing–masing negara.
“Berlatihlah dengan serius, tujuan yang terpenting dari pelakasanaan ini adalah menambah pertemanan dan persahabatan, jadikan latihan ini untuk menambah wawasan yang dapat diterapkan di satuan sekembalinya ke tanah air nanti,” pungkas Jenderal TNI Andika Perkasa.
Sementara itu Pangdivif 2 Kostrad menyampaikan, kedatangan KSAD Jenderal TNI Andika Perkasa guna mengetahui secara langsung kesiapan personel dan materiil serta kemampuan prajurit yang akan mengikuti Latma Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Rotation 21-01.
“Dalam Latma ini selain meningkatkan hubungan bilateral khususnya di bidang militer juga sebagai wadah saling berbagi pengalaman dan mengaplikasikan taktik serta teknik latihan bertempur selain itu juga para prajurit dapat mengambil manfaat yang sebesar-besarnya dalam upaya pengembangan satuan, baik di bidang doktrin, organisasi, taktik dan teknik militer,” pungkas Pangdivif 2 Kostrad.
Turut mendampingi KSAD dalam peninjauannya, Pangkostrad, Pangdam V/Brw, Aslat Kasad, Irdivif 2 Kostrad dan Kadispenad. (Red/Aj)
