Sebagai rangkaian peringatan HUT ke 75 TNI Angkatan Laut Pangkalan Utama TNI Angkatan Laut (Lantamal) V selain menggelar upacara secara Virtual juga melaksanakan Bakti Sosial berupa Donor Darah yang dilaksanakan di Loby Gedung Yos Sudarso Mako Lantamal V Jl. Laksda M. Nazir No. 56 Tanjung Perak Surabaya, Kamis (10/9).
Acara kemanusiaan berupa Donor Darah ini Lantamal V bekerja sama dengan Unit Transfusi Darah Gresik, targetnya 100 kantong darah dari para pendonor dari masing-masing Satuan Kerja yang berada di bawah Jajaran Lantamal V.
Pjs Kadiskes Lantamal V Letkol Laut (K) M. Choerul Anam mengatakan bahwa acara Kemanusiaan ini, selain dalam rangka memperingati HUT TNI AL ke 75 kegiatan ini juga merupakan wujud nyata kepedulian prajurit dan PNS Lantamal V terhadap masyarakat, akan kebutuhan persediaan darah sehingga dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat yasng membutuhkan, khususnya di masa Pandemi Covid-19 yang masih melanda Indonesia saat ini.
Sebelum melaksanakan donor darah para peserta terlebih dahulu melaksanakan rapid test guna memastikan bahwa pendonor tersebut tidak ada yang terpapar virus Covid-19 kemudian dilanjutkan dengan donor darah dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan.
Lebih lanjut Ketua penyelenggara Letkol M. Choerul Anam mengucapkan terima kasih atas kerjasama dan sumbangan darah yang telah diberikan oleh para prajurit dan PNS Lantamal V, “Sumbangan darah ini akan sangat berguna bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan darah secara mendadak” imbuhnya. (Red/Aj)
