Menggunakan KAL Rajegwesi II-5-40, prosesi pelarungan dilaksanakan di selat Bali oleh keluarga Almarhum, selain Danlanal dan perwira staf, prosesi pelarungan juga diikuti Dandentih Opssus Puslatpur Marinir 7 Lampon Mayor Marinir Veny Wuaten bersama anggota.
Mewakili keluarga, P. Laksmarion yang merupakan putera sulung Almarhum pelaku sejarah pengangkat jenazah tujuh Jendral pahlawan revolusi di sumur Lubang Buaya pada peristiwa berdarah G 30 S/PKI 1965 silam itu, mengucapkan terimakasih tak terhingga kepada semua pihak yang turut membantu dari mulai Almarhum terbaring sakit hingga wafat sampai prosesi pelarungan ini selesai, terutama kepada pimpinan Kormar di Jakarta dan rekan-rekan dari Marinir, Lanal Banyuwangi, Kodim, Polresta dan kesemuanya, sekaligus kepada Danlanal Banyuwangi yang sudah menyiapkan fasilitas sehingga prosesi pelarungan ini berjalan lancar sesuai harapan.
