Sebanyak 37 Orang Siswa Pendidikan Pertama Perwira Prajurit Karier (Dikmapa PK) TNI Angkatan Laut Angkatan ke-27 TA 2020 siap mengikuti pendidikan di Komando Pendidikan Dukungan Umum (Kodikdukum). Pembukan pendidikan yang dipimpin langsung Komandan Kodikdukum Kolonel Laut (E) Gunawan Tri Atmojo, S.T., M.A.P tersebut dilaksanakan di Lapangan Apel Kodikdukum Kesatrian Bumimoro Kodiklatal Surabaya, Selasa, (15/9).
Dari 37 siswa Dikmapa tersebut terdiri 2 orang Korps teknik yang akan menempuh pendidikan di Pusdiktek, 5 orang korps Elektro yang akan menempuh pendidikan di Pusdiklek, 9 orang korps kesehatan yang akan menempuh pendidikan di Pusdikkes sedangkan sisanya 21 orang terdiri korps Suplay dan Korps Khusus akan menempuh pendidikan di Pusdikbanmin.
Komandan Kodikdukum Kodiklatal Kolonel Laut (E) Gunawan Tri Atmojo, S.T., M.A.P dalam sambutannya menyampaikan ucapan selamat datang di Kodikdukum Kodiklatal dengan harapan para siswa dapat mengikuti dan melaksanakan pendidikan dibeberapa Pusdik dibawah Kodikdukum dengan sebaik-baiknya.
Sebagai Perwira TNI AL, Komandan Kodikdukum berharap para siswa dapat merubah segala pola sikap, pola piker dan pola tindak menjadi layaknya seorang Perwira TNI AL yang memiliki rasa tanggungjawab yang besar, jiwa korsa dan kepribadian yang bermoral berani dan professional.
Berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan Pendidikan di beberapa Pusdik dibawah Kodikdukum, Komandan Kodikdukum menyampaikan bahwa mulai saat ini para siswa harus menimba ilmu sedalam dalamnya dengan tetap menjunjung tinggi norma sosial dan Norma agama agar apa yang dikehendaki oleh organisasi danpimpinan TNI AL dapat tercapai sesuai sasaran yang ditetapkan.
Sebagai Perwira TNI AL lanjutnya para siswa dituntut untuk menguasai disiplin ilmu yang mana nantinya para perwira tidak bertugas sebagai seorang pelaksana yang hanya menerima dan melaksanakan perintah atasan, akan tetapi kalian dituntut mampu menjadi seorang manajer yang harus bisa mengatur anak buah dan melaksanakan kebijakan pimpinan.
