Kerusuhan di Kendari : Terjadi Penganiayaan, Sejumlah Toko Dirusak

Kerusuhan di Kota Kendari pecah. Ratusan orang yang melakukan demo berujung anarkis mulai dari simpang empat lampu merah eks PGSD, Kecamatan Wuawua, Kota Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) Kamis, (17/9/2020).

Sejumlah orang yang berpakaian serba hitam memblokade jalan. Akibatnya jalan tersebut tak bisa dilalui pengendara. Massa tampak mulai anarkis saat melihat sejumlah pengendara mengambil foto kerusahan. Mereka dikejar dan dikeroyok.

Pengemudi yang tak diketahui identitasnya tersebut terpaksa meninggalkan motor yang dikendarainya tepat di lampu merah untuk menyelamatkan diri. Meski begitu, puluhan orang ini terus mengejar seorang pria tersebut.

Ratusan orang itu juga melakukan pengrusakan sejumlah fasilitas umum. Marka jalan dicabut, toko-toko yang mereka lalui dilempar dan dihancurkan. Bunyi pecahan kaca terdengar dari sejumlah toko yang didekati para perusuh itu.

Akibatnya, sejumlah toko di kawasan Wuawua terpaksa ditutup. Apotek, Bank, dan toko lainnya menyelamatkan karyawannya khususnya perempuan ke dalam gedung. Tak ada aparat kemanan terlihat melerai kerusuhan itu.

Salah seorang seorang karyawan Bank Swasta RF (23) mengaku ketakutan saat ratusan orang itu berjalan melewati tempat kerjanya tersebut. Pasalnya, mereka menggenggam batu, kayu dan sejumlah benda tumpul lainnya.

“Kita terpaksa tutup kantor, karena mereka itu sempat mendatangi kita, bawa balok. Mau minta tolong tapi tidak ada polisi. Ruko di samping kantor juga itu tutup,” ujar RF saat dihubungi melalui telepon.

Sementara itu, sopir mobil daring AG (32) mengatakan, akibat aksi anarkis ini ia tak bisa mengantar penumpangnya. Sebab, jalan protokol diblokade oleh ratusan orang tersebut dengan ban bekas yang telah dibakar.

Kepala Kepolisian Sektor (Kapolsek) Baruga AKP I Gusti Komang Sulastra menyebut, saat ini tengah memantau pergerakan massa. Pihaknya masih mencari pemicu utama dari kerusuhan ini. Namun mereka tak kuasa mengamankan keributan.

“Kita masih memantau sejak tadi malam kita begadang ini. Tadi juga kita melintas sempat juga (dilempari). Jadi, kita masih baca situasinya, kita masih mau pastikan pemicunya,” kata AKP I Gusti Komang Sulastra saat dihubungi melalui telepon. (Red/Aj)
