Siswa SMU Tewas Tenggelam dan Tertimbun Pasir Saat Lakukan Penyelaman Sedalam 1,5 M Dompeng Emas
KUANSING, Isak tangis tidak bisa terbendung dan rasa penyesalan yang begitu dalam dirasakan oleh Sdr. Saman selaku orang tua an. ROF(17 thn) yang tewas tenggelam dan tertimbun pasir saat lakukan Dompeng Emas di lokasi Desa Sungai Alah Kec. Hulu Kuantan kab. Kuansing. Lokasi kejadian yang begitu tidak jauh sekitar 50 meter dari kediamannya menjadi lokasi terakhir anaknya hidup didunia.
Sdr. Saman yang merupakan orangtua korban, menceritakan bahwa petugas Polsek Hulu Kuantan bersama dengan Kepala Desa pernah memberikan himbauan kepadanya agar tidak melakukan aktifitas PETI karena selain merusak lingkungan juga membahayakan keselamatan jiwa.
“Saya sangat menyesal tidak bisa menjaga anak saya, padahal saya sudah pernah diberikan peringatan oleh petugas kepolisian dan kepala Desa!” Terang Sdr. Saman.
Kapolres Kuansing AKBP Henky Poerwanto, SIK, MM ketika dikonfirmasi membenarkan kejadian tersebut. “Iya betul, Kapolsek Hulu Kuantan sudah melaporkan kejadian tersebut bahwa ada 1 orang yang tewas saat menyelam dan tertimbun pasir ketika melakukan aktifitas Dompeng Peti Emas di Desa Sungai Alah Kec. Hulu Kuantan kab. Kuansing!” Terang Kapolres.
Saat ini pihak Polres Kuansing sedang memburu rekan korban yang ikut melaksanakan aktifitas Dompeng Emas tersebut.
Sebelumnya Kapolres Kuansing AKBP Henky Poerwanto, SIK, MM pernah memperingatkan masyarakat agat tidak melakukan aktifitas PETI Dompeng Emas karena selain merusak lingkungan juga dapat membahayakan keselamatan jiwa.
“Itulah akibat tidak mau mengikuti himbauan yang telah kami berikan, kami turut prihatin, semoga tidak kejadian seperti ini tidak terjadi lagi!” Terang Kapolres. (Rudi/**)
