SURABAYA, WWW.BERITATERKINI.CO.ID, Untuk memperingati Hari Batik Nasional 2020 yang diperingati setiap tanggal 2 Oktober, Cabang Berdiri Sendiri (CBS) Jalasenastri Akademi Angkatan Laut (AAL) menggelar Pelatihan Membatik yang digelar di Ruang Utama Gedung Tjoet Nyak Dien, Kantor CBS Jalasenastri AAL, Bumimoro, Surabaya, Senin (28/9).
Pelatihan Mambatik dalam rangka Hari Batik Nasional 2020 yang menjadi salah satu Program Kerja Cabang BS Jalasenastri AAL tahun 2020 ini, dibuka Ketua Cabang BS Jalasenastri AAL yang juga Ibu Asuh Taruna AAL, Ny. Eni Edi Sucipto dan diikuti seluruh Pengurus Inti CBS Jalasenastri AAL dan perwakilan Taruni AAL.
Ketua Cabang BS Jalsenastri AAL mengatakan, Cabang BS Jalasenastri AAL mengadakan kegiatan Pelatihan Membatik dalam Rangka Hari Batik Nasional ini, tidak lain untuk mempertahankan batik sebagai warisan budaya Indonesia yang telah ditetapkan UNESCO sebagai Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity atau Warisan Kebudayaan Manusia kategori Non-Benda pada 2 Oktober 2009 di Abu Dhabi – Uni Emirat Arab.
Setelah diakui UNESCO lanjutnya, Presiden Indonesia saat itu, Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono membuat Keputusan Presiden atau Kepres Hari Batik Nasional. Hari Batik Nasional tertuang dalam Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 33 Tahun 2009 yang menetapkan tanggal 2 Oktober sebagai Hari Batik Nasional.
Tujuan dari pelatihan ini tambah Eni -sapaan akrab Istri Gubernur AAL, Laksda TNI Edi Sucipto, S.E., M.M. ini- adalah untuk melestarikan dan meningkatkan nilai tambah batik Indonesia yang merupakan potensi kekayaan Nasional.
Menurutnya, Kain Batik menjadi sarana manifestasi dari kesabaran, ketekunan dan ketelitian. Batik yang dimaksud adalah kain yang digambar dengan menggunakan alat tradisional yang disebut “Canting” atau cap tembaga untuk mempercepat proses pembuatannya.
Selain diikuti Ibu-ibu pengurus CBS Jalasenastri AAL, Ia juga sengaja menghadirkan perwakilan Taruni AAL untuk mengikuti Pelatihan Membatik ini, untuk membentuk generasi muda Indonesia yang sigap melestarikan batik.
“Semoga dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan ini akan membawa dampak positif terutama bagi ibu-ibu dan Taruni sekalian, karena dapat menambah pengalaman, wawasan keilmuan dan keterampilan, sehingga bisa dikembangkan menjadi usaha sampingan untuk menambah penghasilan keluarga,” terangnya.
Ia juga berharap, seluruh peserta yang hadir dapat mengikuti pelatihan ini dengan sungguh-sungguh dan semoga bisa menularkan ilmu yang diperoleh dari pelatihan ini kepada ibu ibu lainnya dilingkungan masing-masing.
Selanjutnya prosesi membatik dipandu dengan telaten dan cermat oleh Ny. Ferry, para peserta pelatihan nampak cukup antusias mengikuti pelatihan ini karena sebagian diantaranya baru pertama kalinya mengikuti pelatihan seperti ini.
Rangkaian pelatihan dimulai dari proses memilih kain, melukis dengan malam dilanjutkan meluruhkan dan melarutkan malam pada kain dengan memasukkan pada air mendidih sampai dengan mengeringkan kain batik. (Red/Aj)
