Operasi yang yang dilaksanakan untuk mendukung latihan praktek bagi siswa Pendidikan Pertama Perwira Prajurit Karir (Dikma PA PK) TNI angkatan XXVII dan siswa Pendidikan Pertama Tamtama Prajurit Karir (Dikmata PK) angkatan XL/ gelombang I ini berlangsung sejak Jumat (2/10) lalu berangkat dari dermaga Madura, Koarmada II, Surabaya.
KRI Banda Aceh 593 yang memiliki frekuensi jam layar sangat tinggi ini mendukung 434 siswa Dikmapa PK angkatan XXVII dan Dikmata PK angkatan XL/I berlayar dari Surabaya – Pulau Gundul – Tanjung Jangkar – Surabaya.
Operasi pelayaran yang bersifat latihan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan pengenalan kepada siswa tentang PUDD khas TNI AL dan peran-peran di KRI khususnya saat berlayar dan bertempur.
“Kali ini Sea Warrior mendukung Operasi Wira Jala Yudha 2020 yaitu latihan praktek bagi siswa Dikma PA PK TNI angkatan XXVII dan Dikmata PK angkatan XL/ gelombang I di kapal perang” terang Letkol Laut (P) Mochamad Achnaf.
Selain itu Lattek ini diberikan dengan tujuan sebagai pembekalan sekaligus On the Job Training (OTJ) sebelum para perwira dan tamtama menerima penugasan sesuai penempatan jabatannya masing-masing di jajaran KRI.
“Lattek ini bertujuan agar para perwira dan tamtama muda ini mengetahui dan beradaptasi terhadap tugas-tugas yang akan menjadi tanggung jawabnya” jelasnya menambahkan.
Sedangkan kegiatan latihan yang dilakukan diantaranya peran operatif melaksanakan peran tempur seperti serial AAROFEX (Anti Air Rocket Fire Exercise), Gun Exercise 160 butir amunisi meriam 40 milimeter dengan sasaran pulau gundul.
Tomato Killer 154 butir amunisi meriam 20 milimeter dengan hasil sasaran Tomato Killer hancur tenggelam.
Sementara peran heli pun dikenalkan kepada siswa dikmapa dan dikmata dengan menitik beratkan pada latihan evakuasi medis udara.
Sedangkan untuk peran peran lain seperti peran administratif, darurat dan khusus juga dilaksanakan untuk memahami jika menghadapi situasi yang khusus dan cenderung darurat.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, para siswa juga wajib mengikuti tradisi bagi pelaut muda yang baru pertama kali melakukan pelayaran.
Tradisi mandi khatulistiwa samudra acara tradisi ini adalah acara tradisi yang diperuntukan bagi pelaut muda yang baru pertama kali mengarungi samudra.
Panglima Komando Lintas Laut Militer (Kolinlamil) Laksda TNI Irwan Achmadi, M.Tr (Han) mengatakan Selain melaksanakan tugas pokoknya, unsur-unsur Kolinlamil juga mendukung latihan-latihan bagi para taruna, siswa perwira, bintara maupun tamtama dalam mengenal dan mengikuti On the job training sebelum terjun melaksanakan tugas yang sesungguhnya.
