Dalam Sambutan Kasat Binmas Polres Magelang Kota AKP Dra Ni Komang Yanti mengucapkan Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh salam sejahtera Om Swastiastu namo buddhaya salam kebajikan pertama-tama marilah kita panjatkan puji dan syukur kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa karena atas limpahan karunia-nya pada hari ini kita masih diberi kesehatan dan kekuatan sehingga dapat hadir dalam rangka apel satuan pengamanan tingkat Polres Magelang kota.”katanya.
Selain itu Apel satuan pengamanan ini dilaksanakan dengan maksud untuk mengetahui potensi satuan pengamanan Swakarsa di lingkungan kerjanya masing-masing di mana satpam sebagai Mitra keseharian Polri dapat mengemban fungsi Kepolisian terbatas di lapangan,
Hal ini merupakan wujud nyata dari apa yang menjadi dasar hukum undang-undang nomor 2 tahun 2002 tentang Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia pasal 3 ayat 1 bahwa pengemban Fungsi kepolisian adalah Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia yang dibantu oleh kepolisian khusus penyidik pegawai negeri sipil dan bentuk-bentuk pengamanan Swakarsa.
Dan juga Anggota satuan pengamanan memiliki posisi strategis sebagai yang terdepan dalam rangka upaya menciptakan jaminan perlindungan terhadap dunia usaha di negara kita oleh karenanya penyiapan kemampuan profesional anggota satuan pengamanan perlu mendapatkan hati dan prioritas dengan membangun kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap Kamtibmas.”ungkap Kasat Binmas Polres Magelang Kota AKP Dra Ni Komang Yanti.
