Presiden Joko Widodo pada Rapat Terbatas mengenai Antisipasi Penyebaran COVID-19 Saat Libur Panjang Akhir Oktober Tahun 2020, Senin (19/10), di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta.
Presiden Joko Widodo meminta agar rencana pemerintah untuk melakukan pemberian vaksin COVID-19 kepada masyarakat dipersiapkan dengan baik dan detail, mulai dari pengadaan Vaksin COVID-19, distribusi, sampai implementasi vaksinasi.
“Vaksin ini saya minta jangan tergesa-gesa karena sangat kompleks, menyangkut nanti persepsi di masyarakat.
Jadi saya harapkan betul-betul disiapkan mengenai vaksin, mengenai komunikasi publiknya terutama, yang berkaitan dengan halal dan haram, yang berkaitan dengan harga, yang berkaitan dengan kualitas, nanti yang berkaitan dengan distribusinya seperti apa,” ujar Presiden Joko Widodo dalam Rapat Terbatas mengenai Antisipasi Penyebaran COVID-19 Saat Libur Panjang Akhir Oktober Tahun 2020, Senin (19/10), di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta.
Tahap implementasi, lanjutnya, merupakan titik kritis dari vaksinasi ini dan hal tersebut juga harus dijelaskan kepada masyarakat.
“Prosesnya seperti apa, siapa yang pertama disuntik terlebih dahulu, kenapa dia, harus dijelaskan betul kepada publik. Siapa yang gratis, siapa yang mandiri dijelasin betul, harus detail,” tukasnya.
Presiden juga mengingatkan pentingnya persiapkan teknis pelaksanaan vaksinasi di lapangan, termasuk pelaksanaan pelatihan kepada para petugas yang terlibat.
“Saya minta ini dilibatkan WHO Indonesia agar mereka bisa memberikan training-training sehingga standarnya itu menjadi jelas.
Karena vaksin-vaksin pun ini harus mendapatkan treatment dan perlakuan yang spesifik, tiap vaksin beda-beda,” kata Presiden. (Red/Aj)
