Presiden Joko Widodo memberikan sambutan secara virtual pada peringatan HUT ke-56 Partai Golkar, Sabtu (24/10) malam.
Regulasi yang kompleks dan birokrasi yang rumit masih menjadi kendala bagi pengusaha UMKM (usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah).
Bahkan, pada bulan Juni lalu, Indonesia ditempatkan dalam posisi nomor satu dalam Global Business Complexity Index.
Hal tersebut diungkapkan Presiden Joko Widodo saat memberikan sambutan secara virtual pada peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-56 Partai Golkar, Sabtu (24/10) malam.
“Artinya, regulasi dan birokrasi Indonesia ditempatkan sebagai paling rumit di dunia. Sekali lagi, paling rumit di dunia,” ujarnya.
Untuk itu, ditegaskan Kepala Negara, pemerintah berketetapan untuk melakukan reformasi struktural, membenahi regulasi dan birokrasi secara besar-besaran.
Pandemi COVID-19 yang tengah melanda seluruh dunia, imbuhnya, tidak menghambat upaya pemerintah untuk melakukan reformasi struktural tersebut.
“Tatkala banyak negara maju mengalami kemunduran, justru inilah saatnya bagi Indonesia untuk melakukan lompatan-lompatan kemajuan,” ujarnya.
Hal tersebut, lanjut Kepala Negara, adalah semangat dari berbagai kebijakan pemerintah, termasuk Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja. Reformasi struktural ini dimaksudkan agar UMKM berkembang dengan pesat, serta industri padat tenaga kerja tumbuh dengan pesat.
“Kita mengganti izin usaha dengan hanya pendaftaran untuk UMKM, kita permudah pendirian PT dengan modal minimal tidak ada pembatasan, juga koperasi bisa didirikan hanya dengan 9 orang, sertifikasi halal bagi UMK kita gratiskan dibiayai oleh APBN, dan lain-lain.
Sekali lagi, agar perekonomian rakyat segera cepat bergerak, UMKM segera tumbuh, dan peluang kerja segera bertambah luas,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut, Presiden meyakini bahwa tahun 2021 akan menjadi tahun yang penuh peluang, tahun pemulihan ekonomi nasional dan pemulihan ekonomi global.
Saat tersebut adalah waktu yang tepat untuk kembali bekerja, mengembangkan usaha, dan membuka lapangan kerja bagi jutaan pencari kerja.
“Saya sangat optimis, kita akan mampu memanfaatkan peluang tersebut. Pandemi (COVID-19) memang menyulitkan kita tetapi juga membuka peluang kita dengan catatan, kita bisa lebih cepat dibandingkan negara lain. Dan kita lebih efisien dibandingkan bangsa lain,” ujarnya.
Dalam sambutannya, Presiden juga menyampaikan apresiasi atas dukungan Partai Golkar, baik yang berada di lembaga eksekutif maupun di DPR yang secara bersungguh-sungguh mendukung transformasi fundamental yang sedang dilakukan saat ini. (Red/Aj)
