NUSA TENGGARA BARAT, WWW.BERITATERKINI.CO.ID- Kepala Badan Pemelihara Keamanan (Kabaharkam) Polri, Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto, lakukan pengecekan langsung kesiapan pengamanan dan progres pembangunan infrastruktur sirkuit jalan raya Mandalika di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Minggu, 8 November 2020.

Saat melakukan pengecekan, Kabaharkam Polri dan rombongan didampingi oleh Kapolda NTB, Irjen Pol Mohammad Iqbal, beserta jajaran dan perwakilan PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) atau Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), yang bertanggung jawab atas pembangunan Sirkuit Mandalika.

Selain meninjau langsung lokasi, Kabaharkam Polri dan rombongan juga mendapatkan pemaparan terkait kesiapan sirkuit dari PT ITDC serta pengamanan lokasi dan pembebasan lahan dari Kapolda NTB.

Sirkuit jalan raya Mandalika diproyeksi akan menjadi tuan rumah penyelenggaraan MotoGP musim panas musim 2021.

Penyelenggara MotoGP sendiri telah mengumumkan kalender balapan MotoGP musim 2021 beberapa waktu lalu, dan telah memasukkan Sirkuit Mandalika sebagai cadangan.

“Pembangunan KEK di Mandalika sejauh ini berjalan dengan baik. Memang sempat ada kendala pembebasan lahan, namun berkat kerja sama pihak ITDC dengan Polda NTB hal tersebut bisa diatasi.

Memang masih ada lima persen yang belum dibebaskan, namun saya yakin ini bisa diselesaikan,” ungkap Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto usai melakukan pengecekan.

Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto menambahkan, Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Mandalika ini merupakan salah satu program dari lima destinasi wisata super prioritas yang dibangun oleh pemerintah dan sudah dilengkapi protokol keamanan, keselamatan, dan kesehatan guna menambah daya tarik bagi wisatawan lokal maupun manca negara.

“Untuk itu, mohon kepada semua pihak agar mendukung pembangunan ini karena, sebagaimana kita ketahui, ekosistem pariwisata ini sangat luas dan dapat memberikan kesejahteraan untuk masyarakat setempat,” imbaunya.

Sementara itu, terkait usulan penambahan personel, Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto berkomitmen akan membuat laporan kepada Kapolri guna memelihara dan meningkatkan keamanan di provinsi NTB. (Red/AJ)
