Sebagai Sekolah Akting yang berbasis kompetensi dan terdaftar di Kementrian Pendidikan sebagai lembaga pendidikan Nonformal dengan nomer induk 0222002852276 yang di terbitkan 12 November 2020 berdasarkan ketentuan pemerintah pasal 39 No 34 tahun 2018. Dalam penguatan pendidikan akting lebih mengedepankan pendidikan berbasis keunggulan lokal dan global, sebagai kurikulum yang di unggulkan.
Menurut Dosen Kampus Swasta yang ikut terlibat dalam perencanaan berbagai pendidikan akting di Ezy Pratama Academy , Roy Wijaya mengatakan, sebagai konseptor dirinya mengakui bahwa Pendidikan berbasis keunggulan lokal dan global adalah pendidikan bagian dari semua mata pelajaran dan juga dapat menjadi mata pelajaran muatan lokal.
“Jadi dalam pendidikan ini, diharapkan anak dapat berdaya saing global tanpa harus meninggalkan kebudayaan lokalnya. Sehingga pemikiranya secara global namun tindakannya tetap lokal, seiring dengan adanya pendidikan tersebut, dibutuhkan pula adanya suatu pendidikan yang memberdayakan pendidikan karakter dalam setiap pembelajaran yang diajarkan kepada siswa nantinya peserta didik akan mendapatkan pendidikan yang baik dari segi pemikiran, sikap dan juga tindakannya,” ungkap Roy di Jakarta, Selasa 1 Des 2020.
Model pembelajaran ini, kata Sutradara ini, adalah pembelajaran Thinking Globally Acting Locally atau dalam bahasa indonesianya adalah berpikir global bertindak Lokal. Secara umum Thinking Globally Acting Locally adalah suatu pemikiran yang memandang secara luas mengenai masalah-masalah mendunia, masalah yang sudah umum telah terjadi atau sedang terjadi, masalah/ hal yang semua orang sudah ketahui (konteks berfikir global) dan berusaha menanggapi permasalahan atau informasi umum tersebut dengan cara sendiri dan bertindak secara lokal.
“Lokal disini bisa diartikan sebagai tindakan yang dimulai dari diri sendiiri, tindakan berbasis budaya di daerah sekitar. Dalam konteks ini juga, lokal bukanlah lawan dari global, tapi disatukan dan diperkaya dengan impuls-impuls dan pengaruh-pengaruh global. Hal ini diperlukan dengan pertimbangan kita bisa mengikuti arus gobalisasi yang secara langsung berdampak pada perubahan karakter dan budaya masyarakat sekarang (Thinking Globally) maka dari itu arus-arus globalisasi yang membawa dampak positif dikaji dan digabungkan dengan memasukan pendidikan karakter, pendidikan berbasis budaya sekaligus ke dalam pembelajaran,” beber Roy.
Ezy Pratama Academy, yang di Pimpin oleh Ezra Christian dan Mayang serta di awasi oleh Pieter Tobias sebagai Pembina dengan para mentor dari para aktor yang berpengalaman seperti M. Irpan atau biasa di panggil Ipang, Rio B’wock, Deni Titahena dan di bantu Tim manajemen Fuji Handayani, telah menguatkan semua program pembelajaran akting yang semakin sempurna. Karena di dalam model pembelajarn ini berbasis pendidikan global, pendidikan karakter, dan pendidikan berbasis budaya, sehingga pembelajaran secara langsung bisa dibentuk menjadi pembelejaran tematik integratif, sesuai dengan kurikulum yang di buat.
Menurut Roy, sasaran bagi penggunaan model ini bisa di terapkan di semua umur dan layar belakang pendidikan formal, mulai pendidikan tingkat sekolah dasar (SD) SMP, SMA, Mahasiswa bahkan masyarakat umum. Sebab pondasi penenanaman nilai karakter dan pendidikan budaya itu penting, agar kelak mereka bisa secara bijak bisa menghadapi arus global dengan diiringi mereka bisa sekaligus mempunyai karakter yang baik.
Untuk mempresentasikan pendiidikan seperti itu dan untuk menguatkan pendidikan akting yang lebih baik, Ezy Pratama Academy juga sudah menyiapkan berbagai fasilitas guna menguatkan, penerapan Model Pembelajaran Thinking Globally Acting Locally, seperti. Menyiapkan kondisi ruangan kelas sesuai dengan aktivitas pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan. Mengkondisikan siswa, sehingga siswa siap baik secara psikis maupun fisik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran.
“Dalam setiap penerapan pembelajaran Akting, semua mentor wajib, memberikan apresiasi kepada siswa untuk mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang mengait¬kan pengetahuan sebelumnya dengan materi yang akan dipelajari. Serta harus mampu menjelaskan tujuan pembelajaran atau kompetensi dasar yang akan dicapai,” jelasnya.
Begitupun sebaliknya, kegiatan Inti dalam pembelajaran menjadi 2 kategori, yaitu kegiatan, Thinking Globally, dan Acting Locally, Thinking Globally. Bertanya jawab (berinteraksi dengan siswa) untuk Menindak lanjuti apersepsi, dan mengkaitkan apersepsi dengan isu-isu global, atau Akting secara umum dan menghadirkan media pembelajaran dan sumber belajar lainnya, agar anak-anak secara aktif ikut dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
“Selain itu, memfasilitasi terjadinya interaksi antar peserta didik serta antara peserta didik dengan mentor, lingkungan, dan sumber belajar lainnya (anak-anak diharapkan kritis menanggapi isu yang disampaikan), juga memfasilitasi peserta didik melakukan per¬cobaan di laboratorium, studio, atau lapangan dan di wajibkan untuk membuat film film pendek setiap minggu serta podcast di studio yabg sudah di siapkan,” urainya.
