Beritaterkini.com Lebak, Banten – Dewan Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) Lebak, Banten, menggelar acara syukuran Harlah Ke-48 Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) bertemakan “Merawat Persatuan Dengan Pembangunan”, di Sekretariat DPC PPP Lebak, Banten, Rabu (7/1/2021).
Acara tersebut sekaligus sebagai syukuran atas suksesnya Muktamar IX PPP, yang diselenggarakan secara virtual di 10 Kota, yang berpusat di Makassar, yang berhasil memilih secara aklamasi Suharso Monoarfa sebagai Ketua Umum PPP periode 2021-2026.
Dalam acara syukuran dan pemberian santunan kepada anak yatim, di hadiri Ketua DPC PPP Lebak Neng Siti Julaiha, yang didampingi seluruh anggota pengurus DPC PPP Lebak Periode 2016-2021, diantaranya Sekretaris Komisi 2 Asep Nuh.
Asep mengatakan, acara ini merupakan wujud rasa syukur Harlah Ke-48 PPP dan terselenggaranya Muktamar IX PPP di Makassar, serta terpilihnya Ketua Umum PPP Periode 2021-2026 Suharso Monoarfa. “Selain itu, syukuran ini juga sebagai ajang untuk lebih mempererat tali silaturahmi DPC PPP Lebak. Ke depan DPCPPP Lebak berupaya untuk menjalankan amanat perjuangan partai, PPP sebagai “Rumah Besar Umat Islam”, khususnya di Lebak Banten. Masyarakat Lebak merupakan mayoritas pemeluk agama Islam. Oleh sebab itu, kami berupaya menjadikan PPP sebagai rumah besar masyarakat Lebak,” jelas Asep.
Lebih lanjut, Asep menambahkan, ke depan PPP akan fokus dan bekerja lebih keras lagi untuk membesarkan PPP untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Lebak. “Saat ini PPP hanya memiliki empat kursi di DPRD Lebak. Untuk dapat meningatkan kemakmuran dan kesejahteraan, kami menantargetkan PPP memperoleh enam kursi di DPRD Lebak,” pungkas Asep. (TS)
