BANDUNG, Beritaterkini.co.id- Upaya penanggulangan narkoba di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) terus berlanjut ke level yang lebih serius.

Menkopolhukam telah meminta jajaran Kemenkumham, BNN RI dan seluruh instansi terkait untuk bersama-sama membangun sebuah sistem pencegahan narkoba guna mewujudkan Lembaga pemasyarakatan Bersih narkoba atau yang dikenal dengan nama “Lapas Bersinar.”

Sebagai leading sektor dalam upaya penanggulangan narkoba, Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Republik melakukan sinergi dengan berbagai pihak yang salah satunya jajaran Kemenkumham melalui Direktorat Jenderal Pemasyarakatan

Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Sukamiskin juga menerima kunjungan Badan Narkotika Nasional Kota Bandung. Dalam kunjungannya pihak BNK Kota Bandung bertujuan untuk untuk menjalin sinergi dan bekerjasama dalam hal penanganan pemberantasan narkoba, memberikan program pembinaan kemandirian dan pihak BNK juga berencana untuk mewujudkan Lapas Bersinar. Program Lapas Bersinar merupakan kerjasama antara BNN dengan Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia, program ini lahir dari fakta empiris bahwa sebagian besar penghuni mayoritas rutan dan lapas adalah tahanan dan warga binaan narkoba. Di samping itu juga dipicu kondisi overcrowding antara jumlah penghuni dan jumlah petugas di lapas sehingga beban petugas Lapas dalam melaksanakan pengawasan pada Warga Binaan menjadi suatu tantangan yang besar.

Meski Lapas Kelas 1 Sukamiskin identik sebagai Lapas untuk terpidana kasus kasus tipikor, namun Kalapas menyatakan komitmen kuatnya dengan BNK Kota Bandung untuk membangun sinergi dengan pihak-pihak terkait dalam pelaksanakan kegiatan tugas pokok dan fungsi Lapas termasuk Langkah konkritnya adanya tindak lanjut pembentukan relawan anti narkoba yang akan dikukuhkan dalam waktu dekat (Red)
