Lagi, Dua Narapidana Kasus Narkoba Dipindah ke Nusakambangan

Jakarta, Beritaterkini.co.id– Komitmen Pemasyarakatan memberantas peredaran gelap narkoba kembali ditegaskan lewat pemindahan narapidana kategori bandar narkoba ke Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Super Maximum Security di Nusakambangan. Kali ini, Senin (19/7) malam, dua narapidana kasus narkoba Lapas Kelas I Cipinang dipindahkan ke Lapas Kelas I Batu Nusakambangan.

Kepala Lapas Kelas I Cipinang, Tonny Nainggolan mengatakan, dua narapidana tersebut dipindahkan untuk mengikuti pembinaan lanjutan, sesuai dengan surat dari Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia DKI Jakarta, Nomor: W.10.PK.01.01.02-519 tanggal 19 Juli 2021. “Dua narapidana kasus narkoba yang telah dipindahkan yaitu AA dan RG,” ungkap Tonny, Selasa (20/7).

Menurut Tonny, sebelum proses pemindahan, petugas lapas dibantu pihak kepolisian tersebih dahulu menggeledah kedua narapidana. Tujuannya untuk memastikan keduanya bebas dari barang terlarang.

Ia menambahkan, pemindahan kedua narapidana tersebut dikawal ketat empat anggota Polsek Jatinegara dan empat petugas Lapas Kelas I Cipinang. “Proses pemindahan kedua narapidana tersebut berjalan lancar dan aman dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan yang ketat,” ucapnya.

Dengan pemindahan dua narapidana ini, maka total terdapat 671 narapidana kategori bandar narkoba yang telah dipindahkan ke Nusakambangan pada periode 2020 hingga hari ini. Sebagai bentuk komitmen perang melawan narkoba, sepanjang 2020 hingga Mei 2021 Pemasyarakatan juga telah berhasil menggagalkan 286 kasus penyelundupan narkoba ke dalam lapas dan rumah tahanan negara (rutan) yang dilakukan dengan berbagai modus.
