Usaha panitia menggugah hati untuk berqurban bagi masyarakat warga Perumnas Tinggede, yakni dengan cara membuat list kelompok, dalam 1 kelompok sebanyak 7 orang, dengan ketentuan/ orang menyetor ke panitia sejumlah dana Rp.2 juta.
Dan alhamdulillah total dana yang terkumpul hingga H-1 Idul Adha dari 16 kelompok dengan jumlah dana sebanya Rp.224.000.000 juta, tandas Sadepu, yg didampingi Imam Masjid Nurul Iman perumnas Tinggede, Al Ustadz Darhyar Abd Hakim, Spd.
Dalam acara penyembelihan hewan qurban yang berlangsung di halaman Masjid Nurul Iman perumnas Tinggede, setelah shalat Id, berjalan dengan penuh ke akraban antar sesama jamaah, saling bertegur sapa dengan berbagai cerita yang humoris sering- sering terlontar, utamanya kepada 2 orang rekan panitia yang di tugasi sebagai PAM atau yang lebih dikenal Pengamanan, yang saudara Swito, yang akrab di sapa Gus Swito dan bung Arham yang akrab di sapa pak Sek, mereka berdua sangat bersemangat dan sangat disiplin dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai pengamanan pada acara penyembelihan qurban, ujar Herson yang juga sebagai panitia yang menangani cincang tulang.
