JAKARTA -Beritaterkini.co.id. Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo meninjau langsung pelaksanaan vaksinasi di PT Epson, Kawasan EJIP, Cikarang Selatan, Bekasi, Rabu (4/8). Kegiatan tersebut merupakan inisiasi Mabes Polri dengan menggandeng Federasi Serikat Pekerja Metal (FSPMI).
Kapolri mengaku bangga dengan peran aktif buruh membantu pemerintah dalam program vaksinasi melalui kerjasama akselerasi vaksinasi massal sebagai upaya penanganan Pandemi Covid-19. Sebab itu, Kapolri meminta agar elemen buruh terus mengawal program Pemerintah untuk mewujudkan Herd Immunity terhadap virus corona.
“Rencana kita akan turunkan kurang lebih 25 ribu (dosis vaksin) untuk tahap pertama. Dan secara bertahap akan kita tambah sesuai dengan kebutuhan,” kata Kapolri dalam sambutannya.
Kapolri menyampaikan ada dua hal utama yang harus diperhatikan dalam upaya pengendalian pandemi Covid-19 ini, yaitu keselamatan rakyat dan disatu sisi ialah perekonomian.
Kapolri menekankan, ada hal-hal yang harus dijaga sehingga keduanya bisa berjalan lantaran persoalan kesehatan dan ekonomi tidak dapat dipisahkan.
Oleh sebab itu, lanjut Sigit, dalam upaya menjaga kesehatan masyarakat utamanya buruh terhindar dari paparan virus corona ialah dengan menegakan disiplin protokol kesehatan ketat dan pengaturan terkait mekanisme bekerja, dan salah satunya ialah dengan masifnya vaksinasi.
“Sehingga rekan-rekan buruh tetap kita jaga kesehatannya, karena kita tahu penghasil utama pemasukan buat negara itu adalah ekspor. Dan kawan-kawan buruh banyak terlibat dalam kegiatan ini, oleh karena itu kawan-kawan buruh sebagai pahlawan devisa harus kita jaga,” ujar Kapolri.
Kapolri kemudian meninginkan agar elemen buruh turut mensosialisasikan vaksinasi kepada sesama buruh, dengan begitu maka akan mempercepat terbentuknya kekebalan kelompok atau herd immunity sehingga bisa segera berlaku kehidupan normal baru atau new normal.
“Ajak kawan-kawannya yang masih belum mau vaksin. Sehingga tentunya harapan kita bisa kembali dalam situasi new normal setelah herd immunity terbentuk,” pungkas Kapolri.
Sementara itu, Presiden Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Indonesia (KSPI) Said Iqbal yang hadir dalam acara tersebut mengucapkan terima kasih dengan adanya program vaksiansi presisi yang menyasar para buruh. Iqbal menyampaikan, terdapat 10 persen lebih buruh di Indonesia terpapar Covid bahkan sudah ratusan buruh telah meninggal dunia akibat terpapar virus tersebut.
“Oleh karena itu kami setidaknya KSPI menyambut baik dan berterima kasih atas respon cepat dari pemerintah dalam hal ini program vaksin presisi oleh polri adalah menjawab apa yang telah kami sampaikan tentang persoalan Covid,” demikian Iqbal.
