Mengembangkan UMKM tentunya membutuhkan langkah-langkah dan strategi yang tepat. Karena banyak UMKM yang berdiri namun tak berkembang, mengalami kerugian, dan banyak pula yang berakhir dengan ditutupnya usaha tersebut.
Di Bekasi Jawa Barat sejak Desember tahun lalu Yuli Edi Subagio selaku ketua DPC Asprindo Bekasi mulai merintis usahanya. Edi yang dikenal dengan sapaan “Pak Yes” yang juga merupakan Aparatur Sipil Negara memberanikan diri membuka usahanya karena didorong pengetahuan dari pengalamannya yang telah mempelajari dunia per”kopi”an diberbagai kesempatan dan tempat di wilayah Nusantara.
“Berbekal pengetahuan yang saya dapatkan, saya memberanikan diri untuk mengembangkan usaha ini,” kata Edi di Bekasi, Jawa Barat, Minggu (9/1/2022).
Lokasi tempat usaha yang terbilang strategis dan berada di jalan raya utama menjadi keuntungan tersendiri bagi Yes Coffee and Roastery usaha yang mulai ditekuni Edi. Selain itu, Ia pun berencana akan terus menambah jenis kopi khas Indonesia yang berasal dari wilayah lainnya di tanah air.
“Di Yes Coffee and Roastery yang beralamat di Jalan Pondok Timur Indah Blok G no 18 sedikitnya saya akan terus menambah sebanyak 20 jenis kopi yang siap ditawarkan ke para konsumen,” jelas Edi yang saat ini telah mempekerjakan 12 karyawannya.
Di Yes Coffee and Roastery pengunjung dapat mencicipi aroma rasa kopi asli Indonesia mulai dari kopi asal Aceh hingga ke Provinsi paling timur Indonesia, Papua.
Dalam kunjungannya ke Yes Coffee, Ketua Umum DPP Asprindo, Jose Rizal , didampingi Sekjen Irwansyah dan jajaran pengurus DPP Asprindo mengapresiasi usaha rintisan DPC Asprindo Bekasi tersebut. Menurut Jose hal ini akan dapat menggerakkan perekonomian sektor UMKM di Bekasi.
“Tentunya produk kopi yang ditawarkan memiliki cita rasa tersendiri, ini akan banyak disukai orang, bisa membuka pasar kopi dan lapangan pekerjaan,” kata Jose Rizal.
Jose mengatakan, di Yes Coffee yang berlantai tiga tersebut akan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menggelar pameran produk-produk UMKM yang bisa menyerap tenaga kerja dan menambah pergerakan perekonomian di wilayah Bekasi dan sekitarnya.
“Sangat baik dan saya berharap nantinya pengembangan usaha ini akan berdampak pada kemajuan usaha UMKM rintisan Asprindo kedepannya,” ungkapnya.(Monti)
