Ketua Umum ASPRINDO : Menggerakan UMKM dari Masjid

Beritaterkini Jakarta : MASJID idealnya tidak hanya menjadi tempat beribadah, tapi juga menjadi pusat aktivitas masyarakat, baik secara sosial maupun ekonomi.

Hal itu disampaikan H. Jose Rizal, Ketua Umum ASPRINDO (Asosiasi Pengusaha Bumiputera Nusantara Indonesia), saat ditemui di sela-sela acara buka puasa yang berlangsung di Masjid Jami’ Albaqiyatus Sholihat, di bilangan Koja, Jakarta Utara (20/4).

Jose Rizal yang juga menjadi salah satu pembina di masjid tersebut, menyampaikan bahwa ia terobsesi melihat pengusaha-pengusaha kecil di sekitar masjid, untuk bisa memulai dan menggunakan masjid sebagai pusat pergerakan perekonomian masyarakat, khususnya UMKM. “Karena itu masjid harus dibangun menjadi sebuah ekosistem. Tidak hanya tersedia ruang shalat yang memadai, tapi juga ada ruang-ruang lain yang bisa mengakomodasi kegiatan sosial dan perekonomian,” ujarnya.

Menurut Jose, itulah alasan mengapa ia memberikan dukungan atas renovasi Masjid Jami Albaqiyatus Sholihat di tengah pemukiman padat Kecamatan Koja, Jakarta Utara. “Masjid ini mungkin akan jadi masjid terbesar nanti di Koja, tapi bukan bermaksud bermewah-mewah. Masjid ini dibuat besar, karena meskipun masjid berada di dalam gang sempit, tapi masjid diharapkan mememiliki ruang dan sarana yang memadai untuk membina UMKM di sekitarnya. Contohnya sekarang. Untuk berbuka puasa saja di sini, makanan disiapkan ibu-ibu pelaku UMKM. Dan rasanya juara,” senyum Jose.

Ia menyatakan bahwa ia tidak terlalu memberi perhatian khusus pada masjid-masjid yang dibangun di tengah pemukiman mewah atau di pinggir jalan besar. “Sudah ada yang ngurus itu. Donaturnya juga banyak. Beda di sini. Di sini pemukiman padat. Jemaah banyak. Tapi masyarakat sekitar tidak terlalu bisa kita harapkan untuk menjadi donatur.”

Karena itu, Jose Rizal menghimbau kepada para pengusaha, baik yang tergabung dalam Asprindo, maupun tidak, untuk mau bersama-sama mengulurkan tangan bagi pembangunan masjid Al-Baqiyatus Sholihat, atau masjid sejenis.

“Saya tumbuh di tengah pengusaha. Merasakan bagaimana merintis usaha dari kecil. Junjungan kita Rasulullah juga pengusaha. Saya pikir, masjid adalah tempat yang ideal untuk memupuk jiwa kewirausahaan. Jika UMKM dikelola secara serius dari masjid, tidak hanya melahirkan pengusaha yang sekadar bisa menghasilkan uang. Tapi juga pengusaha yang berakhlak mulia. Mudah-mudahan nanti di masjid ini  bisa kita rintis, termasuk misalnya menyediakan semacam mini market,” harap Jose mengakhiri perbincangan. (Red)
