Beritaterkini.co.id, Bandung – Kanwil Kemekumham Jabar mengapresiasi dan mendukung pemusnahan barang bukti Narkoba di Polda Jabar yang dilakukan pada, kamis (19/5/2022).
Pemusnahan barang bukti hasil ungkap kasus tindak pidana Narkoba merupakan bentuk pertanggung jawaban dan transparansi Jajaran Polda Jabar atas komitmen dalam melaksanakan penegakan hukum terhadap penyalahgunaan tindak pidana Narkoba, guna mewujudkan situasi Kamtibmas yang aman dan kondusif di wilayah hukum Jawa Barat.
Pemusnahan barang bukti ini adalah hasil yang didapatkan di wilayah hukum Polda Jawa Barat tepatnya di Pantai Madasari Kecamatan Paringgi Kabupaten Pangandaran dengan berat 1,196 ton jenis sabu dan pemusanahan barang bukti ini bersamaan dengan pemusanahan 1,8 kg jenis sabu yang dilaksanakan secara rutin oleh Dit Res Narkoba Polda Jabar.
Polda Jabar mendapat pendampingan oleh Direktorat Jendral pengelolaan sampah limbah bahan beracun berbahaya yang datang langsung dari Jakarta untuk mengawasi pemusnahan barang bukti sabu tersebut.
Meningkatnya jumlah pengguna/pengedar narkoba yang telah divonis pengadilan dan ditempatkan dalam Rutan/Lapas juga menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi pihak Kemenkumham di seluruh Indonesia. Pengetatan kunjungan dan penggeledahan barang pengunjung untuk Warga Binaan sudah dilaksanakan sesuai SOP karena petugas Rutan dan Lapas sudah berulangkali melakukan penggagalan penyelundupan barang barang terlarang dalam Lapas termasuk Narkoba.
Direktur Jenderal Pemasyarakatan, Irjen Reynhard Silitonga mengatakan total sebanyak 250 ribu warga binaan yang menghuni lembaga pemasyarakatan atau rumah tahanan di Indonesia. 135 ribu diantaranya merupakan kasus narkoba.
“250 ribu yang sekarang itu di seluruh Indonesia, 135 ribu-nya (bersumber) satu perkara yaitu narkoba,” kata Reynhard dalam keterangannya di Lapas Kelas 1 Sukamiskin, Bandung, dilansir dari Merdeka.com, Rabu (31/3/2021). (Red SDP)
