MEDAN – BERITATERKINI.CO.ID – Dr Muhammaedi, M.Pd.I merupakan salah satu intelektual muda Muslim Indonesia yang eksis berkiprah dalam dunia pendidikan. Sebagai praktisi pendidikan Islam, Doktor tamatan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) ini telah mengukir banyak prestasi.

Praktisi pendidikan dan intelektual muda Muslim yang dikenal santun ini lahir di Payakumbuh, Sumatera Barat pada 12 Nopember 1988. Lahir dari ayah bernama Yuhelri (w.2018) dan ibu bernama Yeliarti. Mmeiliki satu orang istri bernama Sofwah Sitorus, S.Pd.I dan telah memiliki 3 orang anak bernama, Qaireen Shazfa Elmeera yang lahir pada 21 April 2013, Fakhrie Zhafran Khairy anak kedua yang lahir pada 11 Februari 2015, dan anak ketiga Qayla Nafeeza Humaira yang lahir 29 Oktober 2020.

Latar Pendidikan Dr Muhammedi, M.Pd.I dimulai dari sekolah dasar di SD Negeri 4. No. 050659 Stabat berijazah tahun 2000, dilanjutkan dengan sekolah madrasah di MTs Swasta Pondok Pesantren Modern Muhammadiyah Langkat-Binjai berijazah tahun 2003, sedangkan pendidikan aliyahnya di MA Swasta Pondok Pesantren Modern Muhammadiyah Langkat-Binjai berijazah tahun 2006. Setelah tamat dari sekolah menengan atas, Muhammedi kemudian melanjutkan pendidikan sarjananya pada studi S1 Prodi PAI Institut Agama Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara berijazah tahun 2011, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendidikan pasca sarjana di S2 Prodi PEDI (Konsentrasi PAI) Pascasarjana Institut Agama Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara berijazah tahun 2014. Pendidikan tertingginya diraihnya pada pendidikan S3 Program Doktor Pendidikan Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara berijazah tahun 2021.

Sebagai praktisi pendidikan yang professional, Dr Muhammedi M.Pd.I memulai karirnya dari Guru PAI di SMP Al-Azhar Medan 1ari 3 Februari 2012 sampai dengan Juli 2016. Dilanjutkan dengan menjadi Guru PAI di SMA Al-Azhar Plus Medan dari Agustus 2016 sampai dengan 2019. Juga menjadi Dosen Universitas Al-Azhar Medan dari Oktober 2016 sampai dengan sekarang. Pernah menjadi Dosen di STIT Ar-Raudhah Deli Serdang pada Februari 2015 sampai dengan Januari 2019, dan sempat menjabat sebagai Wakil Ketua I Bidang Akademik di STIT Ar-Raudhah Deli Serdang dari Januari 2016 sampai dengan Januari 2019. Jabatan lain sebagai Ketua LPM STIT Ar-Raudhah Deli Serdang dari September 2021 sampai dengan sekarang.

Sebagai intelektual, Dr Muhammedi, M.Pd.I telah menorehkan berbagai karya tulis dan berbagai karya ilmiahbaik nasional maupun internasional.. Tercatat sudah 20 judul Jurnal nasional dan Internasional yang sudah dipublikasikan. Selain karya ilmiah jurnal, sang intelektual muda ini telah menulis 100 judul buku.

Sebagai intelektual muda Muslim Indonesia, Dr Muhammedi, M..Pd.I bercita-cita ingin segera memperoleh gelar Profesor atau Guru Besar dalam Bidang Pendidikan Islam. Cita-cita ini ingin diwujudkan sebelum menginjak usia 40 tahun. Semoga dapat terwujud!
