Nawawi percaya bahwa Syarifuddin betul-betul paham terkait hal-hal yang harus dikerjakannya untuk membenahi kinerja MA terutama dalam upaya menumbuhkan kepercayaan publik pada badan peradilan tertinggi di Indonesia tersebut.
“Dengan background beliau yang prnah menjabat sebagai Kepala Badan Pengawas MA, tentu akan lebih banyak perhatian kepada pembinaan dan pengawasan terhadap insan Mahkamah Agung untuk bersih dari praktik-praktik korup dan kolusi,” tuturnya.
