PAPUA, beritaterkini.co.id | Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) menetapkan Gubernur Papua Lukas Enembe sebagai tersangka kasus gratifikasi Rp 1 miliar.
Penetapan Lukas Enembe sebagai tersangka berdasarkan surat KPK RI Nomor: B/536/dik.00/23/09/2022 tanggal 5 September 2022.
Juru bicara KPK Ali Fikri belum bisa dikonfirmasi terkait perihal kasus tersebut.
Disamping itu, Kuasa Hukum Gubernur Papua Lukas Enembe, Stefanus Roy Rening menyampaikan cukup terkejut terkait penetapan tersangka kliennya oleh KPK RI.
“Ini cukup aneh. Belum ada proses pemeriksaan, tetapi langsung dijadikan tersangka. Seharusnya proses penyelidikan tetapi ini langsung penyidikan dan penetapan tersangka,” ungkap Roy Rening, Senin (12/9/2022) siang.
Menurut Roy, uang Rp 1 miliar yang ditransfer merupakan uang pribadi milik Gubernur Lukas Enembe.
“Lucu, masa gratifikasi kelas gubernur hanya Rp 1 miliar, tidak masuk di akal. Itu uang Pak Gubernur yang ditransfer untuk berobat pada tahun 2020 lalu,” tegasnya.
Kuasa hukum menambahkan pihaknya telah bertemu dengan tim KPK perihal perkara itu, yang mana pertemuan itu kuasa hukum meminta agar proses ditunda perihal kesehatan.
“Pak Gubernur akan bertolak untuk berobat di luar negeri dan sudah ada izin dari Mendagri sehingga tadi tim KPK dipimpin Asep Guntur akan berkoordinasi dengan pimpinan KPK di pusat,” tutupnya. (Red)
