MANGUPURA, beritaterkini.co.id | Kabar rencana Pemkab Badung menyikat sejumlah tower bermasalah, rupanya mendapat kritikan pedas dari berbagai lapisan masyarakat, termasuk dari LSM Jarrak.
Pasalnya, rencana Pemkab Badung tersebut bisa memicu masalah baru yang berimbas pada perekonomian di masyarakat, terutama di sektor pariwisata dan sektor usaha-usaha lainnya.
Dewan Kebijakan LSM Jarrak Pusat I Putu Sudiartana menyebutkan, pihaknya mengapresiasi tindakan tegas Pemkab Badung untuk menertibkan berbagai bentuk pelanggaran perda.
Namun, khusus rencana penindakan merobohkan tower seluler nakal hendaknya dikaji ulang. Menurut mantan anggota Komisi III DPR RI dari fraksi Demokrat ini, perobohan tower seluler bukanlah solusi yang tepat untuk Bali yang pariwisatanya mulai bangkit.
“Pariwisata dan sektor-sektor usaha lain di masyarakat akan kesulitan untuk berkomunikasi keluar karena tower-tower bermasalah diberangus. Tentunya akan berdampak pada perekonomian di masyarakat,” tegasnya, Minggu (9/4/2023) malam.
Menurutnya, akan lebih baik penindakan terhadap tower-tower bermasalah dilakukan dengan cara lain, misalnya sanksi denda atau sanksi lain, bukan menumbangkan atau merobohkannya.
“Ini harus dicarikan solusi yang baik dan dikomunikasikan, merobohkan bukan solusi yang baik. Perlu juga diperhatikan operator-operator yang komonikatif jangan sampai kena dampak dan perekonomian Bali jadi terpuruk,” pungkasnya.
Namun demikian, Sudiartana juga mendukung langkah Pemkab Badung menertibkan keberadaan tower yang memang tingkat kesalahannya sangat fatal. Misalnya pembangunan terselebung atau kamuflase serta monopoli. Ini tentunya perlu ditertibkan.
Kritik yang disampaikan pentolan LSM Jarrak tersebut, terkait informasi yang beredar bahwa Pemkab Badung melalui Pol PP, Senin 10 April 2023, akan merobohkan tower-tower bermasalah. Sedikitnya ada 15 tower rencananya akan dirobohkan.(sdp)
