PALEMBANG, Berita Terkini.Co.Id — Customer Fair Event Banyuasin 2023, Bakal calon Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel), dr Sri Fitri Yanti Nurwahid hadir menjadi narasumber yang mengangkat tema kesehatan khususnya diabetes.
Nampak ratusan masyarakat Banyuasin menyambut baik dan antusias mengikuti kegiatan tersebut yang berlangsung di Lapang Futsal Bima Sakti KM 11 Palembang, (15/7/2023).
Bacaleg DPRD Sumsel, dr Sri Fitri Yanti Nurwahid atau yang akrab disapa dengan dokter Fitri menuturkan dirinya hadir mengisi materi tentang kesehatan khususnya terkait permasalahan diabetes.
Dimana Fitri menerangkan pembahasan kesehatan perihal diabetes menjadi hal penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh masyarakat lantaran Indonesia menduduki urutan kelima dengan jumlah pengidap diabetes tertinggi di dunia.
“Maka diambilah tema terkait diabetes karena ingin masyarakat tahu tentang kesehatan khususnya penyakit diabetes,” ungkap Fitri.
Dalam hal ini Fitri menjelaskan kepada masyarakat dengan rinci perihal diabetes, baik gejala diabetes, pengelolaan dan pencegahan diabetes, tata laksana dan sebagainya.
“Salah satu faktor diabetes adalah obesitas, berhubungan dengan kesehatan yang harus diseimbangkan dengan olahraga,” terang Fitri.
Sementara, Ana salah satu peserta mengatakan jika dirinya berterima kasih kepada penyelenggara, khususnya dr Fitri yang telah memberikan pengetahuan dan peduli terhadap masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan.
“Saya perwakilan masyarakat disini mengucapkan terima kasih kepada dokter Fitri yang telah memberikan manfaat untuk masyarakat di sekitar semoga kegiatan seperti ini dapat berkelanjutan,” ucapnya.
Selain itu Ana menilai dr Fitri layak dan mendukungnya untuk maju dalam Bacaleg DPRD Sumsel lantaran menurutnya dokter Fitri telah memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat.
