Besakih Festival Tahun 2023: Upaya Wujudkan Besakih sebagai Pusat Seni Budaya, Edukasi, Aksi Sosial dan Spiritual

Karangasem, beritaterkini.co.id – Besakih Festival Tahun 2023 dibuka oleh Bupati Karangasem, I Gede Dana di Terminal GF Manik Mas pada 23 Desember 2023. Ketua Panitia, I Wayan Mastra mengungkapkan bahwa Besakih Festival Tahun 2023 merupakan kegiatan kali pertama sebagai wujud sinergi dan kolaborasi antara Pemerintah Desa Besakih, Desa Adat Besakih, dan Badan Pengelola. Kegiatan ini secara utuh mencakup kegiatan pengembangan dan pelestarian seni budaya, aktivitas sosial, edukasi, dan spiritual serta pengembangan UMKM lokal.

Besakih Festival Tahun 2023 terlaksana pada 23 s.d. 26 Desember 2023. Rangkaian kegiatan dilaksanakan mulai 4 Desember 2023 berupa kegiatan edukasi melalui Kompetisi Matematika IPA IPS Tingkat Sekolah Dasar se-Kecamatan Rendang. Rangkaian kegiatan olahraga berupa eksebisi bulutangkis, turnamen futsal, dan turnamen voli dilaksanakan pada 19 sampai dengan 25 Desember 2023. Kegiatan Besakih Festival 2023 memuat berbagai lomba yang berkaitan erat dalam pengembangan adat dan seni budaya. Pola pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui kolaborasi antar seluruh pihak yang berkaitan.

Kegiatan terbagi menjadi dua lokasi inti, yakni di Kawasan Manik Mas dan di Terminal Kedungdung, pada 25 dan 26 Desember 2023 akan dilaksanakan panggung hiburan rakyat dan pameran UMKM di Terminal Kedungdung. Pada 25 Desember 2023 menghadirkan Guest Star Leeyonk Sinatra dan pada 26 Desember 2023 menghadirkan Guest Star Bagus Wirata. Anggaran pelaksanaan kegiatan diselenggarakan secara gotong royong dengan kepani/aan yang terdiri dari lembaga tiga pilar Besakih. Adapun total peserta yang terlibat dalam rangkaian kegiatan secara akumulatif adalah berjumlah 13.000 orang.

Bupati Karangasem, I Gede Dana mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan Besakih Festival sebagai upaya kreatif dalam rangka pelestarian seni budaya dan promosi pariwisata. “Kami dari Pemerintah Kabupaten sangat mengapresiasi dan mendukung serta berharap Besakih Festival dapat berkesinambungan,” ujar I Gede Dana. Kepala Badan Pengelola, I Gusti Lanang Muliarta mengungkapkan bahwa Besakih Festival sebagai sarana untuk mulat sarira dan meningkatkan pelayanan di Kawasan Suci Pura Agung Besakih.

“Besakih dalam pengelolaan kawasan memiliki jargon Sewaka Praja Hitta, yang secara utuh bermakna pelayanan tulus dan ikhlas,” ujar Muliarta. Besakih Festival dihadiri oleh Dinas di lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi Bali dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Karangasem, Forkompincam Rendang, seluruh perwakilan asosiasi pariwisata di Provinsi Bali dan Kabupaten Karangasem, serta unsur internal Desa Adat/Dinas Besakih. Ketua Panitia, I Wayan Mastra sangat mengapresiasi antusiasiasme kegiatan Besakih Festival 2023.
