Kepala Sekolah SMA 16 Palembang Angkat Bicara Terkait Isi Ruang Gudang Dijadikan Kelas

Palembang, beritaterkini.co.id -Kepala Sekolah SMA Negeri 16 Palembang, Dra. Hj. Ema Nurnisya Putri, M.M., dalam wawancara dengan media, menegaskan bahwa isu mengenai ruang kelas yang dijadikan gudang di SMA 16 Palembang tidak benar.

Ia menjelaskan bahwa ruangan yang diapit 2 Toilet/WC tersebut dahulunya memang tidak terpakai dan kini telah difungsikan sebagai ruang belajar yang terstandar dan telah mendapatkan izin dari Dinas Pendidikan serta Salah satu WC tersebut kini sudah di tutup dan tidak dipakai.

“Ruangan tersebut sekarang sudah menjadi ruang belajar siswa yang nyaman dan berstandar, dengan fasilitas kursi eksklusif yang membuat siswa dapat belajar dengan nyaman. Sumber dana untuk fasilitas ini murni dari komite dan dana sekolah lainnya tanpa menggunakan dana BOS,” ujarnya.

Selain itu, Komite Sekolah SMA 16 Palembang sebelumnya telah meminta pengadaan tiga item utama: ruang OSIS, ruang literasi yang nyaman, dan alun-alun belajar yang akan segera dibangun.

“Kami berharap SMA 16 Palembang semakin maju dan para siswa dapat mencapai prestasi yang diharapkan,” tambah Ema Nurnisya Putri.

Untuk Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) tahun 2024, SMA 16 Palembang akan menerima 9 kelas sesuai standar dari Dinas Pendidikan. Ema juga mengapresiasi Peraturan Menteri (PerMen) Nomor 21 Tahun 2021 yang sangat membantu semua pihak dalam proses PPDB.

“Dengan adanya PPDB dari PerMen 21 tahun 2021, semua pihak baik sekolah maupun masyarakat dapat terakomodir dengan baik,” jelasnya.

Ia juga berpesan kepada calon siswa dan orang tua untuk tidak terprovokasi oleh oknum yang mengaku dapat membantu memasukkan anak ke SMA 16 Palembang di luar prosedur resmi. “Jika sudah sesuai prosedur, pasti anak tersebut akan masuk sesuai PPDB,” pungkasnya. (DNL)
