Pihak bandara memproyeksikan pelayanan kepada 507.076 penumpang dan 2.921 pergerakan pesawat selama periode Hari Raya Idul Adha tanggal 14-20 Juni 2024.
“Sebagai salah satu destinasi pariwisata utama di Indonesia, momen libur panjang tentunya memiliki dampak terhadap kenaikan trafik penumpang di Pulau Bali. Demikian pula dengan momen Hari Raya dan Cuti Bersama Idul Adha yang kami proyeksikan terdapat kenaikan jumlah penumpang,” kata General Manager Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Handy Heryudhitiawan.
Menurutnya, selama periode Hari Raya Idul Adha tersebut, jika dirata-rata jumlah harian penumpang yang akan dilayani akan lebih tinggi dibanding periode normal.
“Sepanjang tahun 2024 ini, jumlah penumpang di Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai sebanyak 64 hingga 65 ribu penumpang per hari. Pada momen libur atau cuti bersama, akan terjadi peningkatan 15 sampai 17 persen atau dirata-rata ada kenaikan jumlah penumpang per hari menjadi 70 hingga 74 ribu. Kami prediksikan pada periode tersebut, jumlah pelayanan penumpang tertinggi akan terjadi pada hari Sabtu 15 Juni dengan angka pelayanan mencapai 76.287 penumpang,” terangnya.
Hal yang sama juga terjadi pada pergerakan pesawat, yang pada periode normal adalah 371 pergerakan per hari diprediksi bertambah menjadi 434 pergerakan di momen libur Idul Adha ini.
Selain itu, terdapat 84 permohonan extra flight dengan perkiraan pelayanan kepada 11.408 penumpang pada periode Idul Adha dengan tujuan Jakarta, Balikpapan, Makassar, Surabaya, Kulon Progo, Semarang, Solo, Tambolaka, dan Wakatobi yang dilayani maskapai Citilink Indonesia, Lion Air, Wings Air, Super Air Jet, dan Indonesia Air Asia.
“Dalam periode Idul Adha ini, tentu kami akan pastikan kelancaran operasional dan lakukan antisipasi kepadatan lalu lintas di sekitar bandara dengan senantiasa berkoordinasi dengan berbagai stakeholder seperti Polres Bandara Ngurah Rai, Pangkalan TNI AU I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Dinas Perhubungan Badung, dan Bendesa Adat sekitar. Kami pastikan operasional bandara berjalan dengan aman dan lancar,” paparnya.
Sebagai tambahan informasi, sepanjang tahun 2024 hingga bulan Mei, Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai telah melayani 9.183.764 penumpang dan 56.627 pergerakan pesawat.
“Hingga saat ini, terdapat 21 rute domestik yang dilayani oleh 11 maskapai serta 34 rute internasional dengan dilayani oleh 38 maskapai yang beroperasi di Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai,” pungkasnya. (red).
