Imigrasi Bekuk 103 WNA Salahgunakan Izin Tinggal, Diduga Terlibat Kejahatan Cyber Di Bali

beritaterkini.co.id-BADUNG |Direktorat Pengawasan dan Penindakan Keimigrasian berhasil membekuk ratusan Warga Negara Asing (WNA) yang diduga melakukan kejahatan cyber melalui operasi Bali Becik.

“Hari ini Operasi Pengawasan Bali Becik yang melibatkan kantor imigrasi di Bali berhasil menangkap 103 orangWNA, ada 14 orang WN Taiwan, sedangkan yang lainnya belum diketahui identitasnya. Saat ini masih didalami oleh petugas,” kata Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi, Silmy Karim, Rabu, 26 Juni 2024, mulai pukul 10.00 WITA.

Disebutkan, sebagian dari Tim Imigrasi melakukan operasi tertutup untuk mengawasi sebuah villa di Kecamatan Marga, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali.

“Pukul 14.00 WITA, diperoleh informasi, bahwa terdapat aktivitas WNA pada lokasi tersebut. Setelah briefing, Tim langsung bergerak menuju lokasi operasi. Selanjutnya, pukul 17.00 WITA, kami berhasil tangkap 103 WNA yang terdiri dari 12 perempuan dan 91 laki-laki,” paparnya.

Kemudian, mereka diduga tidak memiliki dokumen dan penyalahgunaan izin Keimigrasian.

Hingga saat ini, Tim Gabungan sedang mendalami kemungkinan adanya Kejahatan Cyber berdasarkan banyaknya komputer dan handphone yang diperoleh di lokasi kejadian.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Direktur Pengawasan dan Penindakan Keimigrasian, Safar Muhammad Godam menyatakan, pukul 18.00 WITA, Tim Operasi Pengawasan Bali Becik mengamankan seluruh WNA tersebut beserta barang bukti.

Kemudian, para WNA akan menjalani pemeriksaan, yang sementara ditempatkan pada Rumah Detensi Imigrasi Bali.

“Imigrasi rutin menggelar operasi pengawasan. Tidak hanya di Bali, tetapi di seluruh kantorimigrasi se-Indonesia. Kejahatan yang dilakukan orang asing merupakan salah satu tindakkriminal yang sering kami temukan di lapangan. Dengan operasi pengawasan WNA seperti ini,Imigrasi juga mendukung Satgas Pemberantasan Perjudian Daring,” pungkasnya. (red/kyn).
