Kapten Laut (P) Agung Suhendra selaku Pjs Palaksa dan Perwira Staf Operasi (Pasops) memimpin langsung mewakili Komandan Lanal Banyuwangi yang mengikuti Upacara tersebut di Pemkab Banyuwangi.
Usai pelaksanaan Upacara memperingati Detik-detik Proklamasi dan pengibaran bendera sang saka merah putih dilanjutkan dengan Potong Tumpeng sebagai wujud rasa syukur atas berkat rahmat ALLAH SWT dan perjuangan luhur para pahlawan dan pejuang kemerdekaan 1945.
Pjs Palaksa mengatakan, “Pelaksanaan potong tumpeng ini sebagai wujud rasa syukur kita kepada Allah SWT dan pada Pahlawan Nasionalis, berkat Rahmat-Nya dan ketulusan semangat juangnya para pahlawan kita bisa merdeka dari pemerintahan penjajah belanda.”
“Kita sebagai generasi penerus pejuang sepatutnya kita meniru keinginan luhurnya yang tulus mengisi kemerdekan NKRI ke 75 ini dengan hal-hal positif agar supaya terhindar dari mara bahaya dan wabah penyaki.” pungkasnya.
